We, Alex and Jeff Pipkin, are a father and son team who truly believe in the power of a unique custom rod experience. At Big Sky Custom Rods, consumers are encouraged to become intimately involved with the rod building process. For us, Where Performance Meets Art is more than a tagline. Our rods create a sense of pride, a feeling of pleasure and a level of performance that cannot be obtained from an off the shelf, store bought rod. By allowing clients to choose the components, wrap style, color, reel seat and more, clients get a rod that is just as unique as they are.
