Established in 1982 by Jimmy Glasgow and Bill A. Busbice, Ace Transportation and the group of companies affiliated with it have grown to become one of the largest owner-operator fleets in the United States. Headquartered in the suburbs of Lafayette, La., it is a company founded on very basic principles, such as honesty, loyalty and strong Christian beliefs. With a fleet of more than 2,000 units available and nearly 100 locations throughout the United States, Ace s ability to serve the needs of its customer base is unlimited. Some of the equipment the company leases includes tandem, single axle, mini-float 2-ton, 1-ton, mono-rail and hot shot fleet trucks. The company has locations in Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia.
