I first told Mr. Marek that my husband and I would be moving to Beaufort because of military orders to Parris Island and would be stationed here for three years. I had a specific list of rentals to ask him about. He allowed me to give him the addresses of the homes I was interested in and then went into a speech (that he has obviously given to many people) about VA loans and their low rates. When I told him that my husband and I would not be purchasing a home because we were only going to be here for three years he became standoffish. He said that he would send an email to schedule an appointment. Needless to say, that has been almost a week and I still have not heard back from him. MILITARY, BEWARE OF THIS SLY REAL ESTATE AGENT!!!
