I am disappointed with my experience with All Sew.



I went to All Sew on the recommendation of my mother and my sister. My sister has her pants altered there quite frequently and my mother has had her wedding gown altered there previously.



My daughter's flower girl dress needed to be altered. I brought it to All Sew. The seamstress stated that "we'll do this the cheap way" when she was pinning my daughter. I stated that I would appreciate that because I purchased the dress used in order to save money.



When I went back to pick up the dress, I was a little disappointed that the dress fit rather tightly, but I didn't want to complain because I figured that the wedding was coming up soon and that it wasn't going to cost much. However, I was STUNNED when she told me that the total was $55.00. I was not expecting that for two reasons: 1) my sister said to have her pants hemmed it cost $8-$10 and 2) the seamstress stated that she was going to "do it the cheap way". I ABSOLUTELY do not think $55 is cheap. Her hourly rate is supposively $30 an hour. I don't believe that it took an hour and 45 minutes to take in two seams at the bust line.



I feel that I got fleeced.
