Fells Point Cleaners

I took my clothes to this cleaners because my regular cleaners was not accepting clothing and I had an important business trip and needed my clothes cleaned. There were 7 pieces and they charged $36. When I came to pick up my clothes, I paid the charge. However, when I got outside I had a strange feeling and I counted the hangers and noticed that there were only 6 pieces. When I paid, I wasn't given a receipt but I did charge it so it was no big deal, it would be on my credit card statement. When I went back in, I let the owner know that there were a pair of pants missing from my cleaning. He acted like he didn't know. However, when he took my receipt and his receipt off of the receipt stand, I noticed that he had marked through my pair of pants on his receipt. I was furious. So I said, you knew that my pants weren't there. He told me he forgot to tell me, however, he conveniently forgot to not charge me for an item that wasn't there. He said he would call when he found the pants. I called a couple days later and he said he would call me back. That never happened. Getting closer to leaving for my trip, I stopped by. He stated that they could not find the pants, but if I had a receipt he would give me a credit for the pants. I was like, are you serious, you are going to give me a credit, so I can come back and you can lose more of my clothes, not likely. Needless to say, I am giving him a week to find my pants, and if he doesn't HE WILL refund me the cleaning fee and pay me the $65 for my pants. The only sad thing, I really like these pants and I got them at the end of the season so I won't be able to replace them.



If you decide to use this cleaners, count your clothes, and by all means pray that they don't lose your stuff.
