        Capri Pools, Inc, DBA Bakersfield Pool Plastering, is a California licensed contractor specializing in swimming pool remodeling and new construction plastering. Capri Pools, founded by Durwood Campbell, has been a leading Bakersfield-based swimming pool contractor since 1981. Upon Woody's retirement, his son and business partner, Kirt Campbell, formed Bakersfield Pool Plastering and made the strategic decision to focus on pool remodeling and new construction plastering. Bakersfield Pool Plastering was formally formed in 2000 and has enjoyed rapid growth since inception. Our commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and knowledge of the industry was the working foundation for Capri Pools and remains the driving principals and objectives of Bakersfield Pool Plastering Our owner, Kirt Campbell, is a native of Bakersfield, and has been hands-on in the swimming pool industry for twenty-five years focusing on swimming pool construction within Kern County. Kirt holds a California C-53 Swimming Pool Construction License, and is a board member of the National Plasterers Council. Bakersfield Pool Plastering has been an active contributor to the Cal Poly pool research project which is concerned primarily with the etching deterioration of plaster surfaces in swimming pools. Sponsored by the National Plasterers Council, the project consists of 12 pools located on campus.
