I have seen all the reviews on this property and decided to go and take a look. It is defiantly an older community and I would even go as far as to say they are just as old inside that apartment but they were clean. What I found was that the price was good and the staff was super friendly. So my husband and I took the leap and rented because of him being in the military we needed to secure something fast and they have the largest apartments in the area. Well things didn't go to smooth but I have to say they did everything in there power to make it right for us right away. I was very please with how they corrected everything for us. They even checked back with us several times to make sure everything was going good. So far we have been here two months and I have to say we have been please.

Doesn't even deserve a star

I have a lot to say. One before I moved in I specifically asked if my apartment would have a problem with flooding.. The lady said no we have never had problems with that. Not even three months into living here my WHOLE apartment flooded. I also asked if they have any mold issues... Again the lady said no. A few months later the paint on the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom started to peel off and revealed that was entirely false. My whole bathroom upstairs is covered in black mold. I've sent in over a dozen work orders for them to asses the situation and they continue to tell me "it's dust" are you kidding me? I have severe allergies. An I have been sick ever sense living here. I the. Decided to do a little research in the property... I came across several shootings. Dozens of burglaries. Into homes and vehicles. Research in for yourself. If you want to have any sort of comfort and sanity or children you care for... You WILL STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE DUMP. Believe me they will tell you many many lies and make this place sound wonderful. But believe me.... It's not. They are all liars. Also I am very clean... And we recently came across a roach infestation... Not just any roach.. GERMAN ROACHES. Please stay far away. And for the person who said don't believe the bad reviews... I'm pretty sure you work here. Ignorant piece of sh** why lie?? People have kids!! Family!!! It's all about the money. Don't fall for it. You were warned.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!!

As a young naive new apartment renter I really had no idea what to initially look for before my sister and I moved in, but soon after we arrived and got settled we started noticing our apartment was a mold infested mildew haven. Like the lady a few reviews down my bathroom is also plagued by black mold, and if you look in the window seals its there too! Its caked and utterly disgusting. Also we have a HUGE FIRE HAZARD with our dryer vent being clogged by rain and debris because some idiot thought it would be a good idea to build a dryer vent that goes out the ceiling. The list just keeps going. In my particular apartment, we also have flooding through the front AND back doors EVERY TIME IT RAINS because there is not proper drainage for the water so it pools and seeps in from under the wall!!!! In the back it had gotten so bad that the walls have started to "wrinkle' as i call it and you can press in the wall. I have notified the front office numerous times but to no avail. I am so very tempted to call the building code enforcer to take a look at this mess my house is rotting. This establishment does not even deserve a star....

Don't believe all the bad reviews!

I have been living in Millbrook Pointe Apartments since March 23, 2012! I just renewed my lease for another 13 months! I love living in my apartment. My experience is totally different from the other reviewer. When I call maintainence they are there the same day to fix my problem. Maintainence has always been friendly with me. Of course you have neighbors that are sometimes loud, but that's apartment living. That happens everywhere you go. The floor plan and the price could not be beat. It's not too far from Fort Gordon and we are smack in the middle of busy Augusta. I would highly recommend living in these apartments. No grief here!

I repeat dont even look to your right or left when coming down skinner mill rd, avoid it and pretend is not here

We moved into our apartment on...

We moved into our apartment on March 13, 2012. We immediately noticed a large accumulation of black mold in the master bathroom. We notified the apartment complex management right away and also documented this problem in our move-in inspection. Nothing was done. We continued to put in work orders for the mold problem over the next several months. Finally their manager of maintenance came out and looked at the bathroom. He stated it was just mildew and there was nothing he could do. We realized pretty quickly that nothing was going to be done by management about this problem. My husband went out and bought mold detection kits around the end of May. We set out the test, and sure enough, our bathroom tested positive for black mold. We brought the test up to the office to show to management. Finally, a maintenance worker was sent to our apartment to remove the cabinets surrounding the mold problem. Upon removal of these cabinets, we saw an even more massive accumulation of black mold. The cabinets were finally replaced. I also experienced several symptoms of black mold related illness including cough, allergy like symptoms, constant headaches and frequent ear infections. These symptoms were alleviated upon the removal of the mold. I reported these symptoms in several of the work orders we sent.

Upon moving into our apartment we immediately noticed any time we ran our air conditioner it leaked severely. We notified management and documented this in our move-in inspection. Maintenance came out and blew out the air conditioner. It continued to leak. Because of this problem, we could hardly ever run our air conditioner and our home was extremely hot. When it became unbearable, we would run the air conditioner as briefly as possible due to the leakage. We put in a dozen different work orders over the ensuing months, and only half of these work orders led to another maintenance person coming, always to blow out the air conditioner, which clearly did not work. The other half of the work orders was ignored. Finally, another maintenance worker came out and found a large hole in the air conditioner drainage pan. This was the first time this certain maintenance worker had looked at our air conditioner and he found this problem very quickly. The head of maintenance was usually the person to come and blow it out. After the first couple of times he came, he started being very rude to us, telling us to stop putting in work orders because he had blown out the air conditioner several times and there was no way it could still be leaking. I started to develop symptoms of mold related illness once again. After the air conditioner was finally fixed in mid-June, my husband pulled the carpet up and saw evidence of mold. We began putting in work orders. Apartment management contacted us and told us someone would be coming to take care of this problem immediately. No one ever came. Finally today, July 2nd, I called management to complain yet again and on mention of us possibly seeking legal representation, someone finally came and their solution was to steam clean the carpet, which clearly will not eradicate the problem. Another maintenance person came about an hour later to look at it and pulled up the carpet, finding a much large span of black mold than what was in our bathroom. He estimated it to cover at least 10-15 feet. He also stated he had no confidence in management to resolve this issue. So here we are again. In the past week, I had to start taking antibiotics because of the severity of my symptoms. We have two small children, aged 4 and 14 months, living in the apartment. My husband is in the miltary and we have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. We are going to JAG (to find a way out of the lease because even though the home is a health hazard, they will not let us out without penalty.) and the the housing authority. I am praying they will finally black-list these people so they cannot hurt anyone else due to their negligence.
