Provided by SuperpagesMy experience was a much different one, then the rest. At first I was frustrated that they would not speak with my wife, then after talking with our atty, he told me they are not allowed to speak with a spouse about my medical bill, because of the HIPPA laws. They told me that would violate the FDCPA & THE CFPB, and our atty said that is correct. Beyond that, in order to allow them to speak with her on my account they would need in writing, a signed permission/release letter allowing them to speak with my wife on my behalf, this keeps them from violating HIPPA. However, they can not accept verbal permission, because it would be he said she said, and they said that nobody would ever side with a collection agency and we were both laughing. My Atty stated that is true and legally acceptable, is not an unreasonable request. Our 1st conversation was a stalemate, but now that I know they are legit, then I called them back. I lost my job a 1yr, 2mos ago and the bills have been piling up. I actually had 3 bills there, now i am down to 1. They set me up on a note/form/payment agreement, not sure what they call it, but as long as I make my payments according to my agreement, then I don't ever hear from them. I make my payments in their office every month. I cant say they are my favorite people in the world, but as far as the collection industry goes they are easier to deal with then my other agencies that I owe. I do not really care to be put on hold, because of the annoying disclaimer their telephone system makes, but my atty states that this some kind of federal disclaimer and it apparently is a backup system to make sure they are complying with the law. I know every case is different, but so far mine has been really good, courteous, and professional. I misplaced my receipt a few days ago and I needed a phone number, so I popped online to get it and read a few of their reviews and they are quite bad. I felt like since they worked with me, that I could give them some sort of a small thank you. I can not imagine being a family business in collection industry, this is not a job that i could do. In my experience, I can see how they have been in business since the 1960's.

I had a bad patch and lost my job. I was in the process of filing bankruptcy, but the atty suggested that I try to setup some payment plans. A few of the companies did work with me. this is one of the agencies that did. They set me up on a pmt plan and I was able to go in and pay in person, which is a bonus. I did see where they got some bad reviews, but my experience was not like the rest.

Provided by SuperpagesI have repeatedly received phone call from a woman (she refused to give her name) at this agency she is Rude, Disrespectful and should not be calling people. Even after she was told my husband has a heart condition she is still constantly upsetting him and wont stop talking long enough to listen to the people she called. for someone working with your agency she is a poor excuse for a human being. I actually had to yell into the phone to get her to stop talking. and she began talking again you just cant talk with someone that wont shut up and listen, she told us not to call back there since we returned her phone call I expect the same consideration for her not to call us again. we are willing to talk to a person with manners but not her.

These people are rude and nasty. They will try to intimidate you even when you have done nothing wrong. They immediately attack you and won't stop.
