Smarty Pants Consignment

I went to smarty pants consignment store to buy a used crib for my baby and before i bought the item I specifically ask if all the parts were there. I was assured that all the parts were there. when I got home my husband and I realized there were 8 bolts and 8 screws missing. I called and spoke with the sales clerk who sold me the item and told her about the missing parts. I also told her that I would go to home depot to see if they sold the missing parts, but that I wanted her to reach out to her boss in regards to my situation. she told me to call back the next day to talk to her boss Liz. my husband went to home depot that same day and they did not carry the exact items. I called back the following day as advised and was told her manager has been sick and would not be in. I told the clerk that home depot did not sell the missing parts and that I need her boss to please call me back asap. A few hours past by and no call back, so I called them back and I asked the clerk if she told her boss to please call me. She told me her boss called me and I didn't answer. I had no missed calls or any voice mails left on my phone. I was told that the owner/boss LIZ called the person who she bought the used crib from and they told her all the parts were there. Her boss suggested we keep looking at Lowe's or Ace hardware, but there was nothing she was willing to do for me. At this point the boss was at the store. I expressed how disappointed I was and how unprofessional they were being. I ask the clerk to please put her boss on the phone and she said "sorry I can't do that". I told her to tell her boss I was going to stop payment on my credit card and was calling the better business bureau if she was refusing to help me out. Her boss told her to tell me "if that's how she feels". I feel that this place sold me an unsafe product for my baby and lied about the missing parts, so they could get rid of it. In my opinion, I was sold an unsafe product and strongly do not suggest this place for anyone!!!!!
