Fillings
Resin Composite
Fillings – Dental fillings are used to fill cavities and repair cracked or broken teeth. Additional steps are required for tooth-colored fillings because it requires multiple layers and a special light to dry and harden the area around the filling.
Veneers

A dental technician uses a model created by a dentist to make a custom shell out of special materials. Because veneers require removing some enamel, they are usually permanent. Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal – A root canal is a procedure used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. Although normal tooth decay can become increasingly worse and eventually lead to a root canal, often times blunt trauma can cause the tooth to die as well. If the nerve is not removed the infection will continue to climb deeper into your gums, often causing swelling, pain, and discomfort.

Many people find it easier to eat with dental implants. Their speech can also be improved. Dental implants are also more comfortable because they are made to become permanent.

Dental phobic? No worries, as Patty comes from a long line of dental phobes in her family and understands how vital treating you with compassion and empathy are in your comfort in the dental chair. Patty has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2004 graduated with a degree in Science and Dental Hygiene studies in her home state of New Jersey and completed her state boards at NYU. She entered the dental world as a dental assistant in an Endodontic practice and continued to work and gain knowledge in various areas of dentistry such as Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and Pediatric dentistry. So it is easy to understand that one of her passions is helping patients achieve oral health and confidence through understanding the oral and overall body connection. Patty was born in Peru and grew up in New Jersey but has called Athens, GA home since 2007 alongside her mom.

Dr.Masciadri completed a series of continuing education at the Pankey Institute, a famous institute for Dentists from around the world, located in Miami, FL. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association and Clark County Dental Society where she was the president in 2008. She was awarded at Tufts University to be a member of the International College of Dentistry.
