Dr Goodman is awesome she took care of out pet duck Frank in 07 when he was attacked by a hawk 7 years later he is still doing fine.No other vet in the area would treat a duck Dr Goodman had him back in good health in no time. She truely cares.

Doctor Goodman is the best. We have two cockatiels and my lutino cockatiel had been to another avian vet who almost killed her. After a very prolonged recovery we decided to go with Dr. Goodman. My husband and I love the fact that Dr. Goodman conducts tests and explains the entire process in front of us. With the other vet we were in a panic state because of the list of illness they thought the bird would have. Dr. Goodman lists precisely her suspicions of what it might be and conducts most of her tests in house. As a pet owner one feels a little less stressed out to know that our feathery friends are in safe hands and won't be poked and prodded but handled with love affection and gentleness.

Dr. Goodman has taken care of our rabbits for over ten years. When we moved out of the area, I could not find a vet with as good a rapport or that knew anything about rabbit dentistry. We continue to drive an hour to see Dr. Goodman for regular rabbit dentistry, checkups, and other bunny-related issues.

I have taken my 2 iguanas, scarlet macaw, black capped conure, guinea pigs, water dragon, leopard frog, and parakeets to Dr. Goodman for the past 10 years. Her knowledge and expertise has saved the lives of several of my pets. She is excellent at diagnosing and treating animals needing emergency and acute care, and has an incredible network of surgical doctors and hospitals who saved the life of my sun conure when she had to have her wing surgically removed. She is kind, compassionate, supportive, knowledgable, and has a wonderful and caring staff. I have boarded all of my pets with Dr. Goodman at one time or another, and the care has also been excellent for boarding. I feel that her costs are very reasonable given the superior quality of care, and the excellent follow up and treatment my animals have consistently received. I won't go anywhere else for the care of my feathered, furry, and scaly children! ~Diane Ostapchenko

due to not eating and a red nose. She took him, and for five days, we didn't hear much, besides her treatment methods. She diagnosed it as a burned throat, because he inhaled as he was given the vinegar-water. Then she invited us to come see him, and when we did, he looked worse then before, and had a horribly stuffy nose with crust built up over it. She was encouraging him to eat on his own, and had us bring out his usual diet. The next day, he seemed perkier, however, the exact same build up was still on his nose, clearly never cleaned off, and he still couldn't breath through it. She told us we could take him home that day, or let her have him over night and get a syringe feeding in him again. We left him there, and received a call today he'd got a seed most likely lodged in his trachea, and she had put him in a nebulizer to try to save him. Shortly after, we received a call that she lost him. I snapped on her, and she said it wasn't her fault, despite the bird being in her care for

I have taken my sulpher crested Cockatoo, Kathryn, to Dr. Goodman since 1999. I feel fortunate to have an avian vet of her caliber taking care of my 'too. Linda at the front desk goes out of her way to help and to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Goodman's staff are knowledgable, caring people. I recommend Dr. Goodman to any exotic bird owner. Dr. Goodman seems fairly accurate in diagnosing various health issues with small reptiles. Her hours are inconvenient because she is not open in the evenings or on the weekends. Thus, the treatment of your pet may have to be transferred elsewhere. Although her techs answer all of your questions, I perceived the front desk staff person to be a bit curt in her demeanor. I do feel her prices are a bit high.
