Very dissatisfied with commercial dumpster service. We were required to sign a 3 year contract and provide 60 days written notice (mailed certified, return receipt requested) to cancel at end or it would automatically renew for 3 more years. Despite the strict contract, they continued to increase our monthly fee during the contract period. What is the point of being locked into a contract if the cost can be raised repeatedly?

I cancelled service 11/10 and they billed for Feb and late fee, I called to find out why they are billing, Now they are charging service interruption fee. At no time did I put garbage out nor did the pickup from me. I'm going to report to BBB next. Why can't they get it right?

a very dishonest co. they will use strongarm tactics to keep getting your money while providing lousy service,if any.a city or county that would contract with gds,don't have the best interest of their citizens in mind.

GDS is closing Come Jan 1st 2010 so Dont call unless you want 2 months service Just thought every one should Know. They Have had there up's and down's But i my self have never had a problem. Thanks for the service guys sorry yall had to close.

I have had service with GDS for several yrs.. we are disabled and our driver has been above and beyond the call of duty..the office staff have been friendly and helpful especially when we had a problem with paying our bill...as far as leaving the lid open think about it folks the can needs to air out!!!! so it won't smell so bad...i want them to leave mine open.. these guys are great...so sorry to hear of employee accident he will be in our prayers..thank you keep up the good work

they are rude and careless about customers i try to cancelled my acct with them 60 days before renewal and they wait till week later after time of cancelation i now i can get out of contract

we have never had any problems with the service provided by this company and the ladies in the front office are always friendly. I have been gladly paying them for garbage pickup for 4 or more years!

I had to call numerous times for a couple of weeks to get a new trash can. The one they left was nasty. But theoy waste no time in making sure you pay your bill and taking money out of your account very fast. The guys that pick the trash up just throw the bins down on the gound and leave the trash that falls out on the ground. I am very disatisfied with this company and I am looking for other alternatives to pick up my garbage. They never return phone calls either.

This company is very poor at doing what they tell you. I have had a trash can outside for 2 weeks and I have called them everyday for the 2 weeks. They keep telling me they will get it today. But, 2 weeks later, they haven't picked up my house garbage. 1 can. I talked with James the supervisor today and still no trash pick up. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET THEM TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE THAT I AM PAYING THEM FOR?

Total lack of communication between departments, resulting in virtually little effort to further recycling in Buncombe County. Multiple requests to pick up new cardboard moving boxes were ignored, day after day, despite "promises"....They deserve the low rating and consideration of their low performance should they ask for another raise in fees.
