OPTIMAL Pain and Regenerative Medicine review...(Cleburne and business offices)
Optimal Pain is the latest name of this clinic I guess. In the last few years, since I've been going, it's been Pinnacle Pain, Pain Doctor and now Optimal? The sign out front still says Pinnacle as of today. ha
When you go to the Cleburne clinic you will be seen by a P.A. If you require a procedure, (back injections for me) then you will see the doctor right before the injection, which is scheduled for later at a different facility. The P.A. that I've seen, as well as Dr Berlin, have been great. They have been friendly and have answered all questions to my satisfaction and got me to feeling better, if only for 6-8 months at a time. No problems with them.
The office staff is where there problems begin. As you may have seen in reviews in other places, trying to get someone by phone is next to impossible. Trying to leave a voice mail is also frustrating, as often when I called, the voice mail seems to be turned off or something. Once I counted the phone rings and at the 20th ring, the v/m finally turned on. Another time, the phone simply clicked twice after the 3rd ring which makes me believe someone simply 'answered' and immediately hung up. Something like this happens every single time I try to call. Every time. It appears that office personnel do not want to answer the phone or deal with messages. The situation is lousy bad!
I thought maybe, just maybe, this was just happening to me and I just tolerated it until recently when I was told by my mother, also a patient, that she had been having the same trouble and that no one had ever called her back with her x-ray results and she couldn't get through to anyone or leave a message so I called for her...same thing. No surprise.
This morning I had a visit with my family doctor and asked about pain management doctors and who he might recommend. (looks like I'll be driving into FW) He said that I wasnt the only one who had this trouble with office staff at Pinnacle Pain - Pain Doctor - Optimal Pain (?) and he had heard it all before. He had nothing positive to say about them.
If you are willing to put up with the less than stellar office staff, (business offices are in Arlington I believe) and aggravating phone 'service' this might be the place for you. If you expect better treatment from a business that you are paying money to, keep looking.
I'm not sure how long this business will last with this sort of 'customer service' but they will not see our business again. Good luck.
