Cains Heating and Air Conditioning

Cains installed new HVAC units. A/C worked for only 6 weeks when the new breaker box James installed shorted out. James Cain charged me $200 cash for the repair which was clearly his responsibility due to improper installation. 3 days later, A/C unit stopped cooling. 4 days after that he shows up and says the refrigerant is low, added more to the unit. A/C still didn't cool and compressor was shutting off prematurely. Shut it down. Started it up for the summer. Still having the same problem. After 4 phone calls to James within 7 days, broken promises, 4 missed appointments & waiting 10 more days for a response, it was very clear he had no intentions to honor his written warranty. Another company to come out to correct his work. The unit was installed out of code, the R410A was overcharged, there was a broken float switch. Air Wise got the R410A level down to normal level, replaced broken float switch with proper wet switch for this unit. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

They showed up on time which is rare now a days. They used drop clothes from my front door to the attic so my carpet wouldn't get damaged. They were very polite and explained everything about my system to me and showed me how to program my thermostat. My system runs great and they did a great job cleaning up when they were done
