Overall
Expertise
Professionalism

My little poodle is suffering with IMHA. On initial contact with this Hospital I was greeted with such compassion and professionalism I was greatly surprised. The last vet was too interested in $$ and lacked the expertise needed for this type of serious disease..I realize my little poodle is fighting for her life and I now know she is receiving the indepth treatment she needs for an attempt to survive. I sleep better now knowing she is in the hand of upmost professionals and receiving the very best of holistic treatment available.

Overall
I've been bring my dogs 4 13 years

I was always pleased until I brought my english mastiff in she had a urinary problem and it's misdiagnosed and they didn't even ck her .. I was told she had vaginitis and they deffo DIDNT look because she has a bump on her vulva and after I payed to get her spayed they now want 500.00 to just make sure it's what they think the new problem is .. When they could have done it while she was under the first time .. I'm am very unhappy if I take her back and I will and talk to the dr ../ i hope they fix it and don't charge again for anesthesia seriously they should have looked when she was spayed that's why I told them at the time ...

Overall

Very disappointing. Brought my cat in with a urinary tract infection first time he has had this condition. This kitty was very sick, and he is a difficult cat to handle. After he spent 3 days in the hospital (pulled out his catheter as soon as it was put in) he was sent home with diarrhea, and pills to take 3 of them 2X daily (6!) and very expensive food he refused to eat . We struggled to get this cat his medication. Ever tried to pill a sick difficult cat? Vet thinks not a problem...but she has had training and pills cats all day, right? 6 days later the cat has lost 3 pounds, I've gotten more meds on the outside of the cat than inside and he is still struggling to urinate blood. I would be impressed if I lost 3 pounds in 6 days! Vet says he needed to lose them anyway...okay then find out he could have had his antibiotic as a shot. Charged for pills and the shot too now. Would have liked to have had that option up front. Did she tell me about pill poppers or other methods? No, if you can't get him to take his meds then oh well...okay not that important then? Doesn't like the food? Then feed him whatever. Okay? After having spent over $1,400 yes I expect a little more sensitivity, and not like the fake kind I was offered. Vet needs training in this area. I suggest she watch some of the stories on you tube people trying to "pill the kitty". Me and the cat are exhausted. I just hope he makes it. Clearly disappointed and wish I could score 0. Kicker is they were voted "Best of the High Desert". Not in my book.

Overall
failure to inform me about my dog status.

I brought my dog in, to this location on 7/16/13 for a teeth cleaning. I came back to pick him up and they had removed from him two front teeth. "WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW!" I understand that those teeth needed to be removed and I also understand that he is not just my dog, he is my child. And to make matters worse I went in today 1/24/14 to get a heartworm refills and they told me I have to bring him BACK for a check up first. I brought him for a check up six moths ago and he haven't miss a heart worm pill, so please explain to me why, I need to bring him back again? He gets very nervous at the Vet. Why would I do that to him, I feel terrible especially, when you guys do other things to them without telling me first. btw, thank you so much for the bill I had to pay that day $700. I will take my dog to another vet, from now on!
