The Barker Shoppe

I took my 2 cats here to get groomed, when i dropped them off, i confirmed with the groomer as well as the owner (who was sitting near by) that i wanted a shave, a bath after the shave, and ears. They both claimed "oh yeah! We do that everytime!!" So when they called me to pick up my cats, i knew the cats had ONLY been shaved, no ears and no bath! I knew this because the cats were covered in fresh hair clippings. I asked her if they got a bath after the shave and she claimed they did. I thought she was lying, but went home anyways, still suspicious. Once i got them home, i inspected them better and realized that my one cat was still covered in pee from when he peed from fear while walking out the door to the groomers, and both cats still had dirty ears! I called the groomer and asked her again. She started getting very confrontational & rude. They did nothing to try to make this right. This business is dishonest, rude and will only do the bare minimum to take your money. Theives!

Our baby boy is short haired so we don't take him to get groomed but we have taken him to get his nails trimmed here. The atmosphere is wonderful! Each time I have come in here I never have any nervous feelings or get worried. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our dog also enjoys the people and the other dogs! I love how they bring him in and are not scared of him like most people are (1 year old blue nose). He gets so excited to be around the other dogs. He is put up on the table they trim his nails real quick and painless and he is done. It usually is only a couple minutes we are in there but every time we have been in there it is a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this place! The prices are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable. They are only open till 4pm which is sometimes hard with my work schedule but I don't mind stopping in on the weekends because they are very conscious about doing a great job and it only takes minutes. Keep up the great service!
