I was new to the area last year and I found South Anderson Vet. It is the only place I would take my pets. My pets love to see their favorite assistant Sarah. Receptionist Christina is always so nice and caring. Dr. Busick is great with my pets, especially my difficult cat. I appreciate all that is done for my pets here.

This vet clinic has the most caring and compassionate employees. I have taken my dog and cat there twice and have had an exceptional experience. Very knowlegable and patient staff. Dr. Busic was very thorough as well as her assistant Sarah. I would recommend this place to anyone. They seem to treat your pets as their own.

Overall

My Daughter and Grandaughter who had a appt for their cat, (Teddy) receptionist was very nice and informative but when they went in the back the staff was not concerned or caring for the Cat and seemed to not do the right diagnose for the Cat, it came across all they wanted was to chock on a Bill and once they got a agreement for the Bill then they sorta cared about Teddy, The Dr. (Cary Petterson) was very confusing as my Daughter told me, first the Vet said Teddy's ears were fine but when they got the Report Card of the outcome for Teddy it stated he needed antibiotic for Ears, but the Vet said he didn't need it, the attendant who did the report of why my Daughter and Grandaughter were there (Tonye) didn't seem to act very caring towards Teddy either. I told my Daughter this IS NOT the way the staff is usually in treating and caring for any animal, they are normally VERY CARING people and do their job at diagnosing what is wrong with your Pet. Very bad experience.

Ruth B, Thank you for your review. It is clear to me that you care for your pets. I am so sorry that your daughter and granddaughter had a less than ideal experience. It is our goal to provide EXCELLENT service for all of our furry friends. I have reviewed the records and have addressed the situation. I hope that you and your family (two legged and four legged) will give us another opportunity to show you ...That we are VERY CARING and do our best to make accurate diagnosis. Dr. Eddleman

Sheelah, Thank you for your review. I do want you to know that there are many variables in the medical world. Although I am not familiar with this exact visit please know that my TEAM was tending to the needs of your pet. There are times were "immediate" surgery could be hours away depending on the stability of the pet. I also understand that veterinary medicine is costing more and more, just like the health care in general. If there is anything else at this time that we could do for you, please let me know. Overall
Terrible service

I'm new to the area and with some online research I called South Anderson Vet Clinic for a nail trim to my Great Dane. First I asked if they were equipped to do a nail trim on a Dane who is very scared of the clippers, the sound, and the feeling. The voice on the other end quoted me 13 dollars and some change. We arrive at the clinic, the receptionists are both very nice and friendly to myself and my dog. A tech comes and takes my dog with no instruction into another room. I've never been separated from a pet for a simple nail trim. I could hear my dog cry out 2-3 times, breathing heavily, and a techs voice chastise my dog for fighting the nail trim. When she was returned to me I was told my charge was $25 because they needed 2 extra techs to help hold her. They are not equipped to cut a large dogs nails. When I got her home and inspected her nails they are mostly torn and cracked. Worst nail trim experience ever. From now on I will make the 2 hour drive home for nail trims to my wonderful vet who trims her nails effortlessly and flawlessly...by herself.

Carly, Thank you for your time in writing a review. I know that bringing your pet to a veterinary facility can make everyone a little nervous. My TEAM is very well trained in animal behavior and the art of trimming nails. It is our goal to provide this service with as little stress as possible. There are times where a pet can get extra sensitive to a procedure and share their opinion with us. This presents everyone a challenge especially with a giant breed dog. I too have a giant breed dog and have trimmed her nails many times. She doesn't like it ether. We do have a variety of different types of nail trimming equipment including a nail 'dremel/buffer"
