Alexandra Foote-Jones grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from law school at the University of Arizona, she clerked for Justice Michael D. Ryan of the Arizona Supreme Court. She then returned to Alaska and spent three years at the Alaska Public Defender Agency as a misdemeanor trial attorney, felony trial attorney, and appellate attorney. She joined Durrell Law Group in 2010. Alexandra took a leave of absence from the firm from August 2011 to May 2012 to complete an L.L.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law.

Heidi Borson is licensed to practice in Alaska and Washington. As the daughter of an Army Chaplain and a Norwegian immigrant, Heidi grew up throughout the United States and Europe. She first moved to Alaska in 1981, when her family was stationed at Fort Richardson. After graduating from law school, Heidi practiced civil rights law, employment law and elder law at MacDonald, Hoague & Bayless in Seattle, Washington. She served as supervising attorney of the Access to Justice Institute at Seattle University School of Law. Heidi clerked for Judge Bryan in United States District Court, Western District of Washington, and for Judge Sedwick and Judge Holland in United States District Court, District of Alaska. Heidi’s practice focuses on business and health care law, estate planning, and real property law. She joined Durrell Law Group in 2011. Heidi speaks Norwegian and enjoys opportunities to speak Norwegian with clients.
