- Econo Air hasn't always been the largest residential heating & air conditioning contractor in Southern California. It all began in 1982 when Michael S. Richards, owner and founder of Econo Air fulfilled his dream of starting his own business. At just 18 years old Michael was one of the youngest owners of a heating and air conditioning company in the United States.Michael never intended for Econo Air to become the largest heating & air conditioning Company in Southern California. When asked how he has become so successful in growing the company he attributes that to several things, but he first mentions Econo Air's customers. Great company to work with and can always rely on them to do the necessary things to make sure that my system is working correctly!
I recently had Econo Air come out and do a service on my HVAC System which we had installed a couple years ago. They came out for a routine maintenance and did a great job they where professional and on time. From the install a couple years ago to routine maintenance so have been blown away by this companies knowledge and great customer service.
I just had a new system installed by this company. All I can say is impeccable. The home has never cooled this good and there is no noise to the system. They have installed solar panels also to keep my energy bills down so I can keep it on all summer. should have done this a few years ago! highly reccomend
I had my service done by Econo Air. The technician was on time and very friendly. He informed me on how to make my unit more efficient and on green products that they had. Very thorough and proffessional
This company has a problem with keeping time promises on scheduled appointments. If you use them be ready for a late service call. Service technician would not give me a written estimate for recommended work. Our AC & Heater are only 6 years old installed and well maintained by (Econo Air) every six months. We received a laundry list for repair and upgrades during our recent summer service with no explaination or pricing offered (even after protesting for the prices and reasons) that is not ethical or legal for a licensed contractor to do.
