Awaken Medical Day Spa

The staff was so friendly! They have a beautiful womens locker room with a steam room that I am going to use next time I go. I loved my massage and facial. Can't wait to go back.

Would love to know who that Samnel123 person was. It's ok to say you don't like a place, but I know for sure that one of the therapists there gave me the best massage that I have ever had. And, many of my friends that frequent the spa agree. So, really, your one time bad experience cannot be representative of all the therapists that work there. If you really want the business to know, why didn't you let them know of your experience so that they could remedy the situation, instead of just going online and trying to ruin their business? Again, anyone reading this review, the male massage therapist that they have there is a very professional and talented massage therapist. I was a little nervous about having a male therapist at first, but he is very nice and puts you right at ease. He will also do a deep tissue massage upon request, which felt great and got some of my knots out that had been there forever. This therapist is def worth making a trip to this spa! I just can't say enough good things about him! So, don't listen to the weirdo review given by someone that's still mad about their prom date from '91!!!!

I would not recomend Awakenspa to anyone, including the girl who stole my prom date in '91!!! It was the worst experience I have ever encountered. What I needed was a relaxing day away from the office; what I got was the most uncomfortable two and a half hours of my life. Sure, it is a beautiful facility, indeed, that is was drew me there. However, my facialist was inexperienced, the massage therapist was completely inappropriate, and the locker room smelled a bit like my great grandmother's basement, bless her soul. I had to give at least one star, so here awakenspa, here is your star for the great box wine; it reminded me of my undergrad years, and for that I thank you.

I gave a scathing review for this establishment awhile back and also sent an e-mail to the owners. I did get a call from the establishment offering me a free facial the next time I came to Amarillo. I have to say just from the phone call I received their hearts and service are in the right place and they were just having a bad day. So I say give them another chance as I will next time business brings me to Amariilo. Just to make this clear their treatments were not a question but their timing and wait for their service was too long. They have reassured me this problem is fixed and I will give them another chance, They deserve the chance by admitting a mistake and wanting to retain my business. What a great idea, this is the great thing about a small business, they see a problem and fix it quickly. Thank you
