CONSUMER BEWARE : On a trip with my two children, we stopped to get gas on the way home. We stopped at Gordon Citgo simply because it was convenient. Gas was 2.97 advertised which was the average price for that area on 11-11-12. As the gas pumped, I saw the price and realized that we were paying way more than 2.97 for regular unleaded fuel. At this point, I noticed that in small print on the sign was 3.699 if you did not purchase with a gas card. I went into the store to complain and ask for the number to complain at which point the man there would not even give me the phone number to the store. This gas station charged 70 cents per a gallon more than any in the area when the national average for gasoline is currently $3.49. Sadly this business depends on deceptive marketing strategies to make a profit. DO NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND DECEIVED BY THIS GAS STATION. It is also a poor reflection as a visitor on the city. I plan to complain to the BBB as well.
