The Darling Dog Pet Salon

The grooming staff is top rate. My springer spaniel is 14 and very cranky. They manage to give him a full groom with no problem. I have boarded over the weekend a few times with no issues.

I love this place! I've been taking my GSD for daycare for over a year and she is so much better with other dogs than she used to be. I've also had her bathed and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets. As long as they're open, I'll be a customer.

After scheduling me to come in they couldn't find my appt and then refused to take my 3 dogs because I didn't have shot records. When I scheduled the appt I asked if I needed anything else and they said no. I asked for the owner to call me back but they never did. Terrible service and they're obviously not interested in new business. They also don't return messages (I left 2) and they didn't move my appt when I called in specifically moved it from Tues to Friday.

I'm extremely pleased with their services. I have 4 dogs and they take good care of all of them. As I wrote on another post, I recently had neck surgery so am unable to drive. Jennifer, the owner, called me and offered to come and pick up my dog and I agreed and so appreciate her going over and above the line of duty for me. They have always done a good job on all 4 of my dogs, so they get a great review from me.

I will never, ever take my dog there anymore. They never called me when my dog was done and I went to pick him up at 6pm when there suppose to be close. One of the owners was there and he did't even apologize. I have a mini schnauzer and they cut him so short all over his body, his nails were super short... poor thing. We were very unreleased and disappointed with the over all experience. Horrible!!! I would not give even one star, but I have to do it to leave a feedback.

I dropped my miniature Goldendoodle this morning - they reviewed the coat and recommended a full groom saying it has some knots. They assured us they they will groom and leave some coat on her.



When we went to pick-up -



1. She was busy drawing a chart to sell me on-going maintenance plan. I heard my dog barking. When I asked her to bring the dog out first (my dog is uncomfortable in a cage), she said 'Let us go through this plan first and complete the payment and we will bring the dog out'. I immediately gave her my credit card and asked her the get the dog out.



2. To my horror, I saw my dog COMPLETELY SHAVED. They took the easy way out and just did not bother to leave any coat.



3. I came home and called them to explain why I was disappointed. The call lasted 5 minutes.



4. After putting the phone down my daughter found out a big gash on her neck - about 1.5 inches long. I immediately called them and asked for explanation and THEN they said she had a knot and while removing it they caused the cut. THEY NEVER SPOKE ABOUT IT TILL I ASKED. Their conversation was only focused on building a maintenance plan, and make more money.



I will not take my dog out there again. I will take it back to PatSmart they are at least worried due to corporate liability.

I have bad experiance with Darling Dog recently.I drop my dog (bichonpoodle) at 9:30 in the morning for full groom. Promise time for pick up was 2:30. i have to call ar 3:15 and ask is my dog ready, because, i never receive any call about delay, and they say that is not ready yet. I try call back again about 5:00 PM, and they wan't answer phone. I start freaking out, that something went wrong with my baby. I went there, and there is two personal in loby seting by phone, and, yet, they don't answer calls. I ask about my dog and they said thais is next in line for cut. i didint want to leave i wait in car, and they call me in 15 minutes for pisk up. They shave my dog even i said NOT. I will never go back to that place, and i don't recomend anybody to go there. i dont want anybody go trough what we went. I give one star just for ear cleaning.service,thats all.
