Heritage Montessori Academy

We have been thrilled with HMA from the moment we walked in the door. It's been over two months now and we have no complaints. We moved our son out of a much bigger Montessori school in favor of HMA's smaller, cozier, friendly, and most importantly LOVING atmosphere. My son is in the elementary classroom and we have seen a huge improvement in his behavior and emotional maturity during this short time. The teachers, administrators, and parents have all been so amazing from our first visit when they were planning their spring party. It's a very good sign when the parents all put in so much effort to help and plan. Several parents actually told me in person how much they loved the school and this greatly informed our decision. The director is a very vibrant, caring individual who shows enormous love and affection to every child that walks by. I searched for a montessori school for my 2 children and found that Heritage Montessori Academy in Allen was exactly what we wanted. The school is not huge but it isn't small. The classrooms are full of montessori work created by the teachers. The teachers... they did not stop working with the children even when answering our questions. Each classroom was quiet and all the children were busy on the works. The dedication and energy of the Director Aline and the Assistant Director Lori was exciting that we enrolled both children that next day. The required uniforms and hot lunches made there on location helped us make up our minds. After about a week our children had their routine down and looked forward to returning to school.
