Carter Wrecker Salvage

Carter Salvage has a great location ( on the Plano/Allen border), good prices, someone to pull your parts, and a mechanic next door who can install them. Plus a cool old brindle bulldog and a jackass named Jasper.

They have taken good care of me, and my 24 year old daughter likes to go there to find tail lights and other pieces to jeep her Volvo 240 with over 200K miles on it legal and running.

Don't ever come to this place. If your life is in danger, and your five feet away from the front gate of this place, walk to the Jehovah Witness church across the street instead. The customer service is that bad. The staff are extremely rude and behave as if every customer is so in need of their "superior assistance" that they can be treated like animals. Animals that they don't like. My very brief visit to this place ended right around the time I was told that some mint oem Ford parts I wanted to sell to the establishment "belonged in the dumpster". They didn't even so much as glance at the parts themselves. They have no competition in the area and unfortunately, we pay the price as customers. Shun them and don't let them have a dime or a dipstick.
