Called with a broken furnace at 8AM and was told they could service it this afternoon and would call. No callback. At 4:45PM I called to inquire about status and got an answering machine. By 5:30PM had to call another contractor as I had no heat and overnight temps would go into the mid-'30s.

Unreliable.

Brian was knowledgeable. I was a little disappointed he told me my furnace was fine and then received a letter trying to sell me a new one.

I have used them twice now, once for a tune up and once for a major issue and both times have been thoroughly impressed. The technician came out, was extremely professional and polite, explained to us what the issues were and then offered a few options as to what we could minimally do to get the heat back to replacing all of the things that were at fault. I am a very happy customer and am happy to recommend them to anyone who needs honest, reliable service.

In the summer of 2012, my family decided to install air conditioning into our home. Our window air conditioners were getting old and we figured it was time for an upgrade! Our neighbor recommended Algonquin Heating and Cooling so we thought we'd give the company a try.

The whole experience was great and I'd recommend this company to anyone. The lady that I made the appointment with was courtesy and very knowledgeable. The service man was on-time, very professional and friendly. The job was completed by the end of the day and the service man didn't leave until the house was completely cooled, ensuring the new unit was working properly.

Our furnace is getting old and I will be calling Algonquin Heating and Cooling when the time comes to replace it.
