Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital

My outpatient experience over the year has been terrible. A few of the nurses are truly caring such as Lisa, and Colleen. The worst nurse on staff in my opinion is Amber. She is truly a horrible person and extremely rude. The front staff was amazing and ready to help out. Dr sloan however seemed to be genuinely concerned to get you back on your feet (in the beginning). Everytime I've had an appointment I have waited a minimum of 1 hour just to get into a room and another 1-2 hours once in a room. On average my appointments have been around 3 hours long. This doctor is far to busy and the nurses do not know how to take notes for your medical records based on treatment plans discussed and I have yet to get an updated MRI which I requested from day one. My opinion, find another Spine clinic - less busy, organized and helpful to the patients quality of life. Don't waste your time with Dr sloan and his bully staff members who don't care how much pain your in!

GREAT place to send your enemy or someone you want to kill. WORST medical center I have seen in over 30 years. AMA needs to become a "secret shopper" and see for themselves why this place needs to be Shut Down! Several of the employees say the same!

This is the best facility for Physical, Occupational, and Vestinular therapy. Amazing equipment no other facility has in the state. The front office staff is personable and professional. We had some issues in the past with a high rate of turnover with the therapist, but that appears to be resolved and the current therapist are A+. We drive hours to go there, but worth it for the results. I would give it 5 stars, but they charge me way too much.
