Akron Children's Home Care

I strongly recommended going with any other agency available to you if at all possible, apon bringing my little one home from the NICU we were given the choice to use a couple different home health agency's to moniter her weight gain based on the AMAZING care we received @ Akron Children's Hosp. I never even doubted my decision to chose to continue using there services, this was by far one of the Biggest mistakes I've made.. The nurses that came into MY home were very rude, argumentative over all very unpleasant guests.. I could go on for days about the rude things they said and did..They expected me to clear my schedule for them like they were the ONLY people involved in our lives and I had nothing better to do then sit around and wait on them.. When they discovered they were unable to push me and my agenda around they were very condinscending and arrogant. My first thought was I had gotten a "bad apple" for a nurse so to speak and I called the agency and Req. A new nurse.. Who I soon dkscoverd was just as rude if not worse. That was the point I spoke w my daughters pediatrition and she wrote a new order so that I could use a different agency and I politely asked Akron not to return to my home there services were no longer needed, the nurse responded with a msg informing me that she would be notifying my child's Ped. And also Children's Services.. Ironically the very same time all of this has been occurring I got a letter from Job and Family Services stating someone made a complaint that my child's father lives with me which is NOT TRUE in any way shape or form..SMH please Save Yourself the Trouble and DO NOT welcome these people into your home I can almost gaurentee you will Regret it!
