Metroplex Remodeling

My husband and I recently used Mark Brazil from Metroplex Remodeling Local for a a bathroom renovation. I got estimates from a number of contractors in the Plano Texas area, and I was most impressed with his professionalism, the competitive quote, and his understanding of what we were looking for. We wanted a really custom job with high end finishes, and he was willing to go the extra mile to make sure the finished project was just what we wanted.



Mark is a really skilled contractor and everything was completed within budget and in the expected time frame. The work was really well done, and from start to finish, he was really easy to communicate with and worked well with the changes I made to the plans without skipping a beat. I hope to hire him again next fall when we're ready to do our kitchen remodel!

My family has wanted to replace our beat up laminate hardwood-look flooring with some real, genuine hardwood. We had been wanting to do it since moving into our home 4 years ago, and we finally made a move after visiting a family friend in the Frisco, Texas area who had just had fantastic new hardwood flooring done by Mark Brazil at Metroplex Remodeling. When we found out that the price was really reasonable for the gorgeous hardwoods that had installed, we decided to reach out to him to see if he would be willing to travel out to Mckinney to help us with the new flooring we were looking for.



Mark showed us a number of different options that fit what we were looking for, and he had a lot of knowledge about each. He helped us select a hand scraped hardwood that would be durable and long lasting, and he installed them about a week later.



The flooring looks so much nicer than our old floors and was installed perfectly. His workmanship was really great and the cost was a bit less than we expected. We are really glad we decided to work with Mark Brazil. I would definitely recommend him for flooring installation or other general contractor needs.

Mark came in and Re-did my whole game room. New flooring, windows and painting, they also redid the half bath attached to it. Its great clean and professional work.

Mark and his team provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond my expectations. The project was completed on time and at the price we agreed -- there were no surprises. I plan to utilize Mark next Spring to complete the hardwood on my main floor. Mark will be my go-to contractor for all my larger projects.

The quality of the finished product is amazing. Unique properties brought our nearly 100 year old home into the 21st century in terms of functionality, while restoring the original details and charm. That sort of transformation cannot be done by just any builder. Based on our experience, we will use Metroplex Remodleing for all of our future contracting needs.

I fired a different contractor that was a friend's referral after waiting three months and the guy could not produce an estimate. I hired Mark from Metroplex Remodeling on the spot to completely remodel two of my properties concurrently after speaking to him onsite.  He arrived on time for the estimate and I felt confident that Mark knew what he was talking about and not just making empty promises just to get the bid.  Prior to hiring Mark, I interviewed other contractors that had good reviews on Yelp as well but after meeting them in person, I lost confidence in their ability to produce a good looking result.



Property 1 in Plano:

The #1 issue here was that whatever contractor I hired had to deal with the extremely strict HOA guidelines (but Pearl was able to pull through).




Here's what I contracted them to do for my house in Plano: 




1. Completely redo the kitchen, which includes counter top, appliance installation, and new tile flooring.  There was also some water damage that they had to fix.


2. Rip out the old stained carpets and replace it with hardwood floors.  HOA required a thick underlayment and that was done without an issue 


3. Scrape off old tiles from entry way, kitchen, hallway, and replace with a more modern tile.  The tiles in the entry way were evenly spaced out


4. Partial remodel of 3 bathrooms, which includes new glass shower doors, cabinets, floor tiles, counter tops, toilets, and fixtures.

This was a complete renovation inside and out: 


Stucco and paint 


Remove like 10 different wall AC units and seal up holes 


Roofing was completely redone 


New doors installed

To sum it up, Mark is a great guy and his crew at Metroplex Remodeling does awesome work and provides fantastic service.  I was out of town for most of the process and came back to a remodeled house.  I've got more projects coming up and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Metroplex Remodeling did us an incredible job of navigating through insurance adjusters and sub-contractors in order to get our roof, gutters and siding replaced or repaired. Mark saved us thousands, and we are thankful!

Wow! Thats all i can say!  I was throughly impressed with Mark and his crew. They worked quickly and efficiently and my floors have never looked better! Anytime I had questions there was ALWAYS someone there to answer them which made me feel as if my project was their top priority. They had a wide selection of flooring too. which made choosing easy cause i could feel and see the differences in finishes, textures, and colors. To say I am pleased is an understatement.
