I would recommend Parker"s Tree Service. Very prompt, did excellent work asking if I was satisfied before he left, and their quote was $200 less than another local stump service. Very professional.

Parker's Tree Service did an excellent job. They are very knowledgeable and fair, they don't quote you for unnecessary tree removals. We will recommend them and use them for all of our future tree needs. A++++ service, call to setup a time for Terry to come out for a bid!!

Excellent job, Very honest and asked them to do more work then what was originally asked and I got a call back later from them stating I had over paid and they were offering a refund. You don’t find many companies like that anymore! They have done work from my dad and uncle as well.

I have used many tree services in the past and I would recommend Parker's above the rest. the reason being not only an honest price but safety and great customer service. You have to work with the weather not against it. So even though we had to reschedule due to rain, as soon as it cleared they were in my driveway! Keep up the good work!

We have personally been calling over 50 of Parker's past customers and all have had nothing but great things to say about over all service and price. To often people will only post the negative things that happen, but it is rare for some to be able to take the time to post the positive experiences they have with companies online. That is what we are here for!

The primary goal of our company is to help the honest, family owned etc. companies. Get the recognition they deserve.

I am only giving this company a 1 star rating because I have to check at least 1 star. Let me start by saying that there was a comment put on a website regarding this company leaving a mess...we did not ask that they clean up, we had already planned to do so because we planned on keeping the wood. But the company is a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS in other ways. .Parker Tree Service came out and took some trees down for us. In the process of doing so, a tree limb hit the power line that runs from the road to the house causing a power surge to the house. When my husband got home and the garage door wouldn't open, he knew something was wrong. When he went inside and started turning lights on, the bulbs got really bright and started blowing out. He then went to the bedroom and could smell something burning. He noticed that both alarm clock were out and the tv and satellite box was out. When he called me, I called and left Terry a message asking him to meet me at the house or call. It just so happened that his employees called him because the chainsaws had quit working. When he showed up at the house and we told him what had happened he said to get receipts and he would take care of everything. Later that night I had my husband turn the heater on. That is when we realized that the heating and air conditioning unit was also out. I called and left Terry a message but when he didn't return my call by noon the next day I took it upon myself to have a friend that does this kind of work come over and fix it for me since it was the day before Thanksgiving and we didn't want to go through a holiday weekend without heat. When I finally got a hold of Terry's wife on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, she was very rude and said that they didn't get the message until the evening of Thanksgiving and that they had family over because it was Thanksgiving after all. The thing is, I called on Tuesday evening and would think that they would have taken this seriously being that it was the end of November and the heating unit was out because of something that was caused by his employees. We had a VERY hard time ever getting a hold of Terry or his wife. When I got a hold of his wife she said that she would recommend paying the $196.02, but would check with Terry and see how he would like to handle the situation. She said that she would call back and let me know how it would be taken care of. We never got that call back! I sent a fax with copies of the receipts and invoice, without a response. Then I sent a certified letter with all the info, they never claimed the letter so it was returned. Finally I went through the Better Business Bureau and got a response that way. Terry eventually, after trying to make excuses for everything, stated that he would look at the email over the weekend and there shouldn't be a problem getting a check in the mail the following week. Well, this all started in November 2012...it is now March 2013 and absolutely nothing...not surprised though with how unprofessional this company has been through this whole process. Terry pretty much insinuated in one of his responses through the BBB that he would not pay up unless our "friend" removed "his" negative comment that "he" wrote on a website about Parker Tree Service. This company is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY UNETHICAL. Any company that has the receipts and invoices from damage that was done while their company was performing the work should take responsibility and pay for the damage. I even got discounts on the TV and heating unit through friends and saved Parker Tree Service at least $600 by doing so.

Very unprofessional. Took 4 weeks for them to fix my house/deck after falling a tree into it. They kept cutting corners and not telling me, including turning my gutter spout around, hoping I wouldn't see the dent on the reversed side, instead of just replacing it like they said they would. Had to constantly argue with them to make my house whole again, when in their contract, it says they replace all issues with house that's caused by them.



The worst part is one of their crew members POOPED IN MY FLOWER BEDS!! He confessed to it, and Terry, owner, was only willing to give me $45 off... I'll repeat, THERE WAS FECES HUMAN IN MY YARD FROM THEIR CREW, and they confessed! I have pictures of everything.



I had to call them every time to get things done. Owner talked to me once, and wouldn t talk to me after, instead routing me to other people. Buyer beware, this company is terrible and not worth the headache and unprofessional on many levels.

This job was doomed from start! We contacted Mr Schneider the morning that his job was scheduled for and because of the gusty winds we wanted to reschedule his job, He was upset and said that he had taken off work and expected us to proceed with the work, Six of the trees came down without any problems. Then when we were topping out the last tree a gust of wind caught the top of the tree and blew it into the railing on the deck. Mr Schneider said he saw the whole thing and that he understood that this was beyond our control, We completed his job and he was very happy with the work. After leaving Mr Schneider's house while going to our next job I was contacted and told to call Mr schneider, When I did I was told by Mr Schneider that he had seen one of the crew fastening his pants while at his house and after we left, Mr Schneider went out to investigate. He told me that a crew member had deficated in his shrubbery. I was discusted and never having to deal with something like this in twenty two years of business I apologized several times and told him I would be in touch, When we arrived at our next job I confronted the crew and found out who was responsible. This person was told to leave right then and return to Mr Schneider's house he appologized and used a shovel and bag to remove his feces. Later that afternoon I spoke with Mr Schneider and I was told that he was very satisfied with the tree work and that the second situation was what he was very upset about, I agreed with him and told him that it would be resolved. We went back to Mr Schneider's house and repaired his back deck to his specifications. The next day we were contacted again by Mr schneider and he wanted us to do his repairs in a different way and that he wanted to be compinsated for the situation, I asked him what he had in mind. He told me to take seventy five off of his bill and I agreed. I told him we would be back asap to change his repairs to his satisfaction. after returning the following week an additional repair was brought to our attention, a gutter downspout had been slightly dented. we turned the downspout around so the dent was not noticable untill we could replace it. later that week we came back with a new downspout and painted it to match the house and other gutters. At this time all the repairs had been made to Mr Schneiders satisfaction. At this time we tried to settle up with Mr Schneider for the amount of $875 minus the agreed $75. To my surprise Mr schneider said that he was still not able to deal with the situation of a crew member deficating in his yard and that the only way he would not be compelled to inform any future customers of this terrible situation is if we made his final bill $650. We agreed to the $650. and the crew member was fired and all the repairs were done to Mr Schneider's satisfaction. As you can see Mr Schneider still felt the need to inform people of this terrible situation. I know that every crew member is a reflection of Parker's tree service and I have delt with this situation in what I thought was a fair way, I am very sorry that this has happened and all I can do is hope that I never again hire a person that would make such a stupid and disgusting act on a customers property.

BEWARE

BEWARE of this company! I had them remove two trees from my backyard and told me they would climb the trees so I signed their contract. When they showed up they said they need to bring equipment to do the work and assured me they would not damage my driveway. Well they brought the equipment in and cracked my driveway. When I complained they referred to their contract and pointed out they are not responsible for concrete damage. Don't trust they will stand behind their word and beware of their contract!

We made every attempt possible to make this customer happy. The situation started when after cutting and removing several trees in his front yard, we were getting set up to remove a tree in the back. after removing all the grass clippings and other debris at base of the tree we had discovered a large rotten spot, This tree was not safe to climb and we told the homeowner about it. He asked about any other options and was told that we could use our bucket truck to safely take the tree down. He was made aware of how we would have to have the truck on the driveway and partially in the yard. We were told to do what ever we needed to by the homeowner, When we pulled the front tires of the bucket truck off the drive into the yard a section of the driveway about 12" long cracked. We had an estimate done to repair the driveway and the concrete company said is was a very easy repair and that the driveway pad had only been poured 2.5 inches thick and that the driveway was not the standard 4" thick and this is why the driveway cracked. We agreed to let the concrete company fix the crack by cutting out that area and pouring new concrete. The homeowner was not happy with that type of repair and wanted the entire pad removed and repoured. At this time I could not make the homeowner happy with the repair and I put him in touch with my insurance company. My insurance company took into consideration the age of the driveway and the other stress cracks. They settled with the home owner for an amount that was not discussed with me. We have been in business since 1990, We always try to please our customers and the truth of the matter is we could not please this homeowner. And our insurance company could not please him either.
