Buyer Beware!!! Buyer Beware

AWS has performed oil to gas conversion in my house about a year ago. The person who came and gave an estimate mentioned that all existing pipes that going to the broiler and water heater would be replaced. IT WAS NOT... pipes going to the water heater completely rusted. I wish I could upload pictures. Now, I called them to fix this and they used the famous line "It was not in the contract". Don't give these scum bags your business!!

Terrible customer service. Spend thousands to fix a heating problem, nothing changed but the felt entitled to get paid just because they were there, even though they didn't fix the problem.

They did an oil to gas conversion for me. They are a family owned business big enough to handle any job but small enough to give you personalized service. I had three other plumbers in Rockville Centre come to evaluate my system and they were in and out in about 15 minutes. I went to a plumbing supply store nearby and asked for a referral and two different employees recommended AWS. They came not once but twice and spent over an hour with me, asked very specific questions and provided several solutions. I converted from two pipe steam (oil) to a two pipe hot water system(gas). They offered a 95% efficient boiler with an outdoor reset and I am already realizing significant savings. Their staff were trustworthy and very clean and they educated me every step of the way. They were always on time and very polite.

I had one service call where the circuit board failed. It was under warranty and they went to their shop and took one from a new boiler they had there and swapped it to my boiler so I wouldn't have to wait for one from Burnham.

I would highly recommend their family for your plumbing needs
