The litigating trial lawyer of our law firm is Mark La Spina. Mr. La Spina became a lawyer because he wanted to counsel those in need, and fight for those who could not fight for themselves. Mr. La Spina has been practicing law in Texas for over seventeen years dealing with general civil litigation matters and has proven success at trial and settlement negotiations. He aggressively pursues justice for his clients while maintaining the highest of ethical standards with clients, colleagues, and judges. He has helped hundreds of clients successfully resolve their disputes. He has represented plaintiffs, defendants, individuals and business entities over the course of his career. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Texas Federal District Courts, and in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court. He graduated with honors from the University of Houston, where he obtained his law degree. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University, with honors, is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and is a qualified Mediator. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at various colleges and universities where he has taught business law and other related business courses. He has been a member of various Austin and Texas trial lawyer associations and he speaks a fair amount of Spanish. Mr. La Spina has also served as a co-host and legal expert on various media shows and as an Independent Hearing Examiner with the Texas Education Agency.
