Well where do I begin?? I walked in with my husband and our 4 & 5 year old daughters on a Friday night at 8pm w/o a reservation. I expected a wait, naturally. So when we were quoted a "40 minute" wait. I wasn't surprised. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked the (very snotty red haired girl) hostess how much longer. After looking at the time I was clocked in on the computer she replied "you still have 20 minutes". After watching the entire waiting area clear out and hearing the hostess quote the wait time as "15 minutes" to everyone entering I became quite annoyed (as did another party of four sitting next to us that had been there 10 minutes longer than we were) I understand that people make reservations, when I worked in the restaurant business, we accommodated this by seating "1&1" (one reservation & 1 walkin). I was also always taught that quoting someone "40 minutes" does NOT mean you have 49 minutes to seat them, it simply rant you try like hell to get them say before that 40 minutes was up. After another 45 more minutes and the ENTIRE waiting area was clear (beside us and the party of four I mentioned earlier) we all (us and the other party) watched as FOUR - 4top Tables were open and we clocked how long they sat there before even one was cleared (12 minutes) the manager did absolutely nothing but flirt with every single woman who walked in the door. As it was our turn to be seated the hostess pointed at our table and said "you can sit there" as she rolled her eyes. Did I mention that one of the men in the other party was wearing a "U.S Airforce" hat and had served our country. This being the week of Veterans Day, I found this EXTREMELY distasteful!! As I pointed this out to the manager and his reply "yes I know about veterans" and kept telling my husband "I'm sorry, I have the flu". The only reason we stayed was because we had already waited for so long (which was our fault, I know). Our kids were exhausted and hungry and finding another place to eat was simply not going to work at that point.
The food was very bland. No taste at all. As far as restaurants go, I would never eat there again.
Our server, Theresa, and our bus boy we're fantastic. But other than that, it was a horrible experience.
Not a single damn was given by the manager. No free appetizer or drink or anything was offered to make up for our extra long wait and super rude treatment by the hostess. Who took the extra time to roll her eyes at us as we walked out.
