Overall

I'm a past pt of the Clinic's & I love the staff, love doc.. I had to move to Chattanooga now I'm back & wish I could see her again. If I ever had any problems the staff would help & doc would help me as well. If you get your feeling hurt easy just move on cause what I love the most is "NO SUGAR COATING THE TRUTH" from the staff nor Dr Kay Son ..and that's what I needed and still do... yes, hey would close at times but the staff & doc are humans too and have family just like me!!!

Karmas a bleep and this place will soon find out! Rahahahaha

Do not go to this God forsaken place. I have filed medical reports against this place and am doing a story on this place. I called the news and they are interested so hopefully this place will be exposed for what it is. God always comes thru against the wicked. They ddon't deserve to work with the public or be around people. They have not one caring bone in their bodies, none of the staff. Its funny when I called other clinics and docs they all told me the same thing, oh yeah we have a lot of their patients and they all said the same. I'm sorry anyone has to go through this and that they actually get off on causing people to suffer instead of helping which is their profession. It will all soon come to an end though and I will make sure of it and anyone else who had major issues should do the same. Together we can open people's eyes to this place and others like it.

Always closed

this clinic sucks, they are always close it is very hard to reach them,me and my family decided to change out doctor and clinic, the stuff are so rude and does not even need any kind of explanation when you ask any kind of question,I needed some urine and blood test and after I gave everything they needed they told me I can get my results in 2 days ,I called them after 2 days and it took me 3 weeks to reach them ,I was so pissed off and asked them why no body ever called me for my results or why I could not reach them ,the lady did not even answer my question, just told me they are ready now and you can come and I can print it for you, without any explanation or any excuse!!even if I asked them if they can mail me the results since I was so busy she said no in a rude way,and since its been more than a month I still don't have my test results, you can hardly see them open, this clinic is always closed and even if you send them a voice message they never return, stay away from this clinic you will have headaches because of this unprofessional clinic!!!trust me!!

Dr. Kay Son spent at least twenty minutes with me. She not only discussed my medical history but took the time to ask more questions to help determine the best treatment possible. She inquired about my family/job which helped me feel more comfortable. She helped explain her methods & the reasoning behind them. I have spoken with four doctors over the last year & have been disappointed habitually. For those who may need pain management treatment she is the doctor you are seeking. Her staff if also friendly and accepting. I am so relieved to be in her capable hands.

Overall
Good Doctor-but in my case i feel she has made some rash decions without looking at the facts

iv been seeing this doctor for a little over a year. iv been on suboxone(it's a medicine used to get off of opaites). she perscribed me 8mg twice a day. second visit, i told her that i cannot take suboxone at night because it wires me. i told her how much works for me. and all about this. Because of my inssurance i needed a DR's PA for my inssurance to cover the medication cost. well we agreed that i could take 8mg in the morning and 2 milligrams at night. well since she cannot right a perscription for the 8mg once a day and 2mg once at night, and she did'nt really want to go thought the paperwork for another DR PA=prioror auterazation (this is required anytime your dosage is changed). so she continued to write me 8mg twice a day but was ok with me taking 8mg in the morning and 1/4th a pill (2mg) at bedtime. she has know this for about a year now. so because of this iv had more medication then i needed for a month. so it lasted me around 3 months. all of a sudden i go to the doctor again for my reguler refills because im a few days before i'll be out of medication so i go in to see the doctor, and all of a sudden she has a huge problem with this. so she refused to write me any more precriptions for suboxone. Now im in a huge perdiciment. because of my insurance and i am disabled, i can not afford to just go to another doctor and pay the 800dollars for the first visit that most doctors want because most wont except my inssurance iv called them all before. So now what do i do? i feel this is not my fault and i feel like im being punished for something the doctor and i were clear about. iv been honest, i told her of the medications im on. iv been upfront about my treatment. so now what? well i got about 2 days to figure out where im going to get suboxone at or i can go into withdrawls that can be lethal? i dont see how this is right what so ever. she wont even give me blood pressure medication. this is a serios issue that all of a sudden poped up out of the blue. and i don't be;lieve his is my fault. i thopught the doctor was proffesional and a nice lady. but this is a terrible mistake i believe on the doctors behalf.

my only options are either find a ton of money to pay for out of pocket to see another doctor . -well i dont have the 800 dollars up front most doctors want. and this takes time and i got 2 days to do this before a very sicking withdrawl period starts

another option she said was inpatient detox- well i have a rare case and this is not an option for me. because i have a severe panic disorder that she is aware of, compounded with fight or flight syndrome(wich is a disorder im not clear on but to my understanding its where the body releases and unusaly high amount of adrenilin into the blood stream, usaly set off by sever panic disorders.

because of this rare case my blood pressure and pulse can be potentialy lethal if i dont have my pnic medication (wich another doctor perscribes) that she knows about.

well in inpatient detox i will not be able to take the xanax that i am on there. because its a benzodiazapam, and its not allowed in detox programs. also i had my faince explain to her what happened when i once tried a detox program before i know bout outpatient suboxone so again, the doctor is fully aware that is not an option for me either

these are my only options all of wich are un realistic and not possable to achieve in a day and a half 2 days.

im not sure the doctor cared or even listened to me. i would like to think she did. but obviosly, this is a big mistake. i do not see how it is ethicly right or medicaly right, to drop someone from a fairly high dose of suboxone, wait till the last minute then tell me when im almost out that she will not perscribe to me.

Overall
a long wait!

After waiting more than a month for an appointment @ 10:15am I saw Dr, Twahira @ 13:07. He asked me a bunch of yes or no answers & spit me out within 10minutes. I was expecting a bit more. The waiting room is very small & gets very packed. The staff isn't very friendly either. After asking how much longer it would be to see the dr. the lady said she would go check, came back and made no effort to answer me. In fact she made an effort not to make eye contact with me. I totally felt like another insurance co-pay instead of a patient.
