Sports care is a joke! Teachers dont watch children, they dont fill out incident reports, most days I pick my child up he is wet, they are nasty dont clean and sanitize like they should. Teachers dress inappropriate, children can just run wild. They are just about the money not the well being of the children! They always have an excuse instead of just owning up to their mistake.

My child attended the center for only 3 days, because I quickly realized that the center was not enforcing ANY safety guidelines concerning pick-up procedures. My daughter was picked up by two different people on the FIRST and SECOND days of school. Neither person was asked to show ID--they were actually able to walk in and walk out with my daughter. No one even made sure that they signed her out. On the third day, I picked her up myself, and of course, no one asked to see my ID either. I asked the receptionist when the directors would return that day so that I could talk with them, he told me he could take a message but that neither director was there at the time. I called the center on Thursday, and spoke to Cathy, one of the directors, and I was APPALLED at the tone and sarcasm she used with me as a customer. She stated that "As far as she knows" they check ID for every person picking up unless they recognize them. When I informed her that no IDs had been checked for my child, she stated that they must have recognized the people. I assured her that this was NOT the case since we have just moved to the area. I asked for a refund because I was completely dissatisfied with the service, and she informed me that she would not refund my money. She told me that I must be a person "who just likes to call and complain, ' and defended her lack of concern with asking me "Why did you let your daughter come for 3 whole days if you were so worried about her safety?" I asked her if she cared about the children in her center, and stated that she obviously must not, since she made no effort to protect them from strangers being able to walk out with the children. She then snapped at me with "You don't know who I am, how many hours I work, or anything!" Of course I informed her that it didn't matter to me how many hours she works when it came to the safety of my daughter. She also stated that it "is sad that I had to send different people to pick up my child just to check up on them." I wasn't checking up on them! I am a working single mother who is also a full-time student!! I need all the help I can get. This center was recommended to me by someone who had used them in the past, but obviously their practices have changed. I want to let other parents know, who may or may not use this center, that they did NOT check any IDs for my child and that their children could also be at risk. Please let people know about this center's lack of concern, as well as the director's lack of professionalism when handling a complaint. She took offense and completely disregarded my concerns, and had no intentions to make sure it was corrected. As a matter of fact, when I went back today to get my daughter's belongings, the lady was still arguing with me, telling me that since she recognized the people picking her up she was not required to ask for ID. She did not recognize them, it was the first day of school, and we just moved to the area! Additionally, she told me to go into the classroom in the back of the building to get her things. I was not escorted, and she refused to get them for me. I was very upset- and she still permitted me to go back where the children were napping without anyone with me!???? What if I had been a crazy person and wrecked the place or put those children in danger?! She should not have wanted me, an unsatisfied customer, ANYWHERE near those poor children. And, FYI- the teacher that saw me walk through did not even ASK what I was doing back there!!

My 10-year-old son went to their summer camp this year. He really enjoyed it and never wanted to come home when we picked him up. Whenever he had any problems or any situations (such as his sinus problems) they gave me a call immediately. They were great!
