Trash collection is great. This company has steady creep of pricing for their trash collections. They start most customers at $10.00 for promotion. It is now at $14 per month since 2013. The billing is sufficient and they upgraded to bill pay, however, don't miss it because they charge a $35 fee and a $20 fee to close the account. I recommend you look at their fine print because they also don't show the fees in their online contracts review. Robotic and obnoxious customer service.

It has not been the same since this company took over Charlie & Sons routes. Trash beyond the trash bin has frequently been left behind--that never happened with the old company, ever. One time a big box full of boxes was left behind. Another time a pile of cut dead limbs was left. Then they failed to pick up the recyclables. Today when we got home from work at almost 5:00 pm, the recyclables were gone but the trash was still here, so we pulled it back in the yard. About 5:00 pm they came by and we missed them. This was 12 hours different from their usual pick up, but we received no warning in advance. Invariably the trash can is left in the street or in the drive where you have to move it to pull in. We had much, much better service before. We need to bring in someone else.

Drivers have consistently failed to pick up my trash. Calls to their Customer Service yield no result. They are never able to return to resolve their failure to collect trash. They refuse to provide statement credit for missed pick ups. They actually want to charge me a $10.00 administrative service fee to cancel their incredibly poor service.

Strike Three!!! I'm done with this company. Their drivers leave trash and recyclables all the time. That's their only job! What? I will say their customer service people are quick and professional but I'm kinda tired of having to call them. So they get 2 stars for their reps.

My service with American Disposal began April 1st, today is April 5th. The first time they picked up my trash they left the recepticle in the street right by my driveway. How hard is it to push it one foot in?! Today is trash AND recycle day. They took my trash & left the container in the street, AGAIN and my container clearly marked "recycling only" is still filled to the brim. I can't remember where but I saw 19 neg reviews in six months and still decided to give them a chance. We're off to a bad start, already. I knew I should've listened to my neighbor and gone with Shifflett's. Live & learn.
