Applebee's

I went to this Outer Loop Applebee's location today and was not pleased. I was seated around happy hour time and was not greeted by a server for a good 10 minutes. Our waitress seemed to be "out of it" and did not know the happy hour information and asked for our food order as soon as she greeted us. She explained that it took longer than usual to get the salad because she has to make it her self. Also, I believe she came to our table nearly 11 times in around a half an hour that we were there, lingering. The food quality could have been way better. And hearing the servers yell across the restaurant inappropriate conversations with each other was well enough to not let me ever come back and include telling my friends.

This applebee's is the coolest applebee's there is. The wait staff is great at holding their tounge with the crappy customers that walk through the door. The food problems will be fixed timely if you are polite with your waiter. And the employees are wonderful at dealing with the stupid corporate rules that are forced on them everyday. The one problem I had with it is, there seemed to be a lot of picky customers that probably made food production slow down, and made for a longer wait. I'm so amazed at how when customers create their own problems the staff is able to remain calm and collected even though they had nothing to do with it and are being blamed for it.
