Monarch Dental

Highly unprofessional and far more concerned with getting your $$$$ than caring for their patients. My son was told he needed a tooth pulled and some additional work afterwards. He went to the appointment and the dentist told him that it had to be all $4300 worth of dental work or he would do nothing. All that was immediately needed was pulling a tooth. He tried to tell us that an oral surgeon would have to pull the tooth if he didn't do all of the work...as it might crack the adjacent tooth. This made no sense at all. He was very insistent about this. This was pure fiction. It was obvious that all he wanted was a $4300 job on the spot. We left the office and I called another dentist who took my son the next morning. This dentist took x-rays, a panorama, and pulled the tooth for about half of what Monarch Dental was going to charge. This second dentist saw no possible reason to be concerned about "cracking" the adjacent tooth or insisting on all of the additional dental work be done on the spot.

And, the waiting room at this office is tiny, and uncomfortable if there are more than a couple of people waiting.
