Established in 2005, Ruby Major Elementary School is a part of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Tennessee. The district operates more than 130 educational institutions with a combined enrollment of over 73,000 students. The school provides academic classes to nearly 480 students in kindergarten through grade four. Ruby Major Elementary School s amenities include a gymnasium, cafeteria, sports field, computer laboratory, library and media center, administrative offices, approximately 35 classrooms, and art and music rooms. Located in Hermitage, Tenn., Ruby Major Elementary School s staff include classroom teachers, resource and reading specialists, physical education instructors, guidance counselors, social workers, psychologists, custodians, library media aides, and occupational and physical therapists.

Wonderful school! I was very nervous when my first child started school but my fears were quickly alleviated by the warm and welcoming teachers. My family is very fortunate to be a part of such a great school.
