She has special training in the treatment and management of glaucoma and lectures both locally and nationally to optometrists for continuing education. She also has a commitment to serving underprivileged populations and traveled on a mission trip to Nicaragua in 2008 where she provided eye care to numerous villages throughout the country.

If you are new to our practice, we encourage you to download and print out the new patient forms. The Cataract Lifestyle Questionnaire is for any new patients that are scheduled for a cataract evaluation, and the Oculoplastics Lifestyle Questionnaire is for patients scheduled for a consultation. Completing them in advance will minimize the time necessary to check-in at our front desk.
Cataract Surgery
Our highly experienced cataract surgeons provide customized surgery to correct blurry and distorted vision caused by cataracts. We offer a range of intraocular lens options (IOLs), including premium lenses that allow many patients to achieve vision that is greatly improved to reduce or even eliminate the need for glasses after cataract surgery.

Diabetic retinopathy is a result of high blood glucose causing damage to the blood vessels in the retina (the lining at the back of the eye where light is focused). In patients with diabetic retinopathy, these blood vessels may leak, swell, or completely close off, causing vision loss.

At COA, we are proud to have an oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Brandon Cho, as part of our elite team. Oculoplastic surgery is a highly-specialized area of ophthalmology, combining the precision and technical skill of an eye surgeon with the artistic finesse of a plastic surgeon. After completing education and residency training in ophthalmology, these doctors go on to train in highly competitive fellowships focused on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the orbit and the delicate areas that surround it. Following this intensive education, oculoplastic surgeons must prove a high standard of both skill and knowledge in order to achieve dual board certification by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society for Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Brandon Cho received his Bachelorâ€™s degree at Indiana University and Medical School degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. Cho also has a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Cho completed his fellowship in Orbital, Oculoplastic, and Aesthetic surgery at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Cho has been practicing in Columbus since July, 2012.
