        Dr. John Q. Binhlam, M.D. is the founder and director of Advanced Skin and Laser Center and Binhlam Aesthetics and has been in practice since 1996. Originally pursuing a career in engineering, he obtained a B.S. in both Computer Science and Mathematics at Vanderbilt University. He decided to change career paths when he realized he had a deep interest in the human body and medical care. Dr. Binhlam obtained his M.D. license from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine training at Indiana University from 1990 to 1993. During this time, he realized he had a true passion for skin disorders and decided to commit his training to the practice of Dermatology. He obtained his Dermatology training at Vanderbilt University, where he honed his skills in general dermatology and surgery. Dr. Binhlam continually keeps abreast of the latest trends and techniques in skin care and rejuvenation.His areas of expertise and interest in dermatology are wide-ranging, and include general dermatology, skin cancer, Mohs micrographic surgery, allergic contact dermatitis and patch testing, cosmetic laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.

        DrBinhlam is the most talented dermatologist I have ever seen.

        Dr Binhlam never makes me feel he is rushed, he explains problems I may have without using medical language with confuses me. He puts me at ease when I am anxious. He has solved many diff skin problems for me. I have the utmost confidence in him. His office staff is always ready to help me.

        The front office staff is very friendly and pleasant. Dr. Binhlam is very professional and knowledgeable. He took great care of my dad and he is taking great care of me and my mom. I am thankful we have a doctor such as Dr. Binhlam!!!!!!!

        Very satisfied with Dr. Binhlam.

        I have been a patient of Dr. Binhlam for about 7 years. He has successfully handled all of my skin problems. Some of my problems have taken a while to remedy. Dr. Binhlam explained at the beginning that it would take some time to clear up. I believed in him and was patient with the progress. I am so pleased with his efforts.
