Ladera Care And Rehabilitation Center

The building in not made to be a nursing home. It's built above ground level, which means those in wheel chairs (which are 99% of the residence) could easily roll down the slanted walkway and fall off a curb causing possible serious injuries. I witnessed a woman who rolled out of the facility, she wasn't suppose to leave because I heard the door alarm go off and 2-3 min later I see her roll down the dangerous slanted walk way and fall off her wheel chair. Not one person responded to the alarm in those 3 min!! I ran to the nurse to let her know. Seriously, you couldn't hear the Alarm??? Dislike Ladera!!!!

Excellent facility, well-maintained, friendly staff, responsive to resident/patient needs.
