General Info
located on a Yucaipa Blvd since 2006, Holly Woof-Woof has emerged as Yucaipa's premiere pet care facility. Holly Woof-Woof has a sensitive, even "picky" clientele that is well-served by an experienced and enthusiastic staff. Holly Woof-Woof is the first store for style-minded dogs and the people who worship them. A place where tooled leather collars, organic treats, designer doggi apparel and professional grooming harmoniously co-exist. A place where human talk is spoken in doggi dialects. A place where all of our smallest citizens can find the courture conscious apparel and all of the doggi necessities they deserve.

Don't refer to those reviews from before 2017, it is under new management and Sharon and her crew are fabulous. I highly recommend Hollywoof-woof for grooming and boarding.

This place is OUTSTANDING & WELL DESERVING OF 5 STARS ALL AROUND. I’ve read a couple of the reviews on this site and I seriously have to wonder if they are talking about the same Hollywoof-Woof on Yucaipa Blvd? This facility is impeccably clean. We boarded our Akita here for over a month when we moved to CA and you would have thought that he was in a 5 Star Hotel. He received excellent care, love & attention. They are very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. The Kennels are nice, large, clean and well maintained. There is plenty of room for the animals to move around and be comfortable. In addition, our Pug and Poodle Mix are groomed here as well and they have ALWAYS done an OUTSTANDING job and at a very reasonable price. I honestly can't imagine anyone giving them any less than 5 STARS. SERIOUSLY....I can’t even fathom where some of these people are coming from??? Go someplace else if this facility isn't meeting your “required attention quota”, but to deliberately try and discredit this establishment is unwarranted. THANK YOU Hollywoof-Woof for going above and beyond and for always providing Excellent Service! YOU SHINE ABOVE THE REST! S. B.

This place always stinks like dog crap and cheap air freshener that just adds to the stench. The new owner is rude and hateful. The people that answer the phone and scedual the appointments do not know the prices of the services they offer. My situation was that I was told one price over the phone, then when I arrived to drop my dog off I was told a much higher price by the owner. This new owner has a bad attitude and instead of saying sorry that there had been a misunderstanding or a miscommunication with her employees not knowing how much services are, she insisted that I was wrong and that none of her employees would say that... Well I know how much I was told because it had only been day since the appointment was made. I don't know what happened to "the customer is always right"? It really sucked that she had to be so rude and condescending because I would've just paid the extra if she had been nice. Take in mind this was the new owner so don't let "under new ownership" fool you.

WOW, Barbara T. nailed it. They only care the first couple of times you're there, after that, they won't even listen to you. I had a set appointment and when I showed up with my 4 dogs, the owners daughter had such a horrible attitude, that I almost left. There was no one there, yet she couldn't get of her cell phone. For the 50th time, I told them, Schnauzer cut on all the dogs. 8 hrs. later I go pick up my dogs and I swear I didn't recognized them. They shaved them completely, and I mean completely from head to toe, including their beautiful little faces. I was so angry, they looked like Chihuahuas, no shape to any of them. I asked her what the heck they did and she had an attitude with me?? she tells me they were matted and couldn't get rid of the knots. She actually lied to my face and made it sound like it was my fault. My husband and I personally brush all of them and make sure they never have matted hair and if they do, we carefully cut them and brush them out. To top it, they never cleaned their glands, cut their nails or cleaned their ears, and all 4 stunk like they peed on each other. Let me ask all of you reading this, "When was the last time they asked you for your dogs vaccine records?" My dogs are now terrified to go there, do you blame them? This place needs to get their act together or just close down. Don't take our your personal issues on my kids, they're my family and they matter.

They seem fine for one time appointments.. but, if you become a regular.. they don’t act like they value your business. They don't return phone calls and are constantly late opening. My appointment was at 8am, I received a phone call 1 1/2 hours later and she was mad, "you should have just left your dogs.." WHAT They had my dogs for over 8 hours and were still not done.. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS BELOW.. THEY SHOW 5 STARS BUT ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.

I've used this place three times now with my dog. The first time was okay, good enough to bring the dog back. The second was iffy, my dog came home reeking of urine. The third time was completely unacceptable. They failed to trim her nails even though they charged me for it, and either lost or used all of her treats I had sent her there with. Maybe I should have sent her with only a few but I didn't see a point in switching bags. She also seemed completely unhappy after her latest experience there.

Both my pups love to go there to get groomed. All we have to say is "Want to see Tammy/Courtney" and they run around, tails wagging, looking for their leashes and heading for the door. When I drop them off they go in the back without so much as a goodbye. They come home looking and smelling beautiful!

I have been to several Dog grooming places in Yucaipa, always leaving unhappy because they don't do what I ask for my little Bichon Frise. Finally, I found a nice caring place that I am happy with! Holly woof woof, thank you! My dog always looks perfect and smells so nice and leaves happy. You dont take all day long and keep him in a kennel. He walks around with other dogs there and when you finish with him you call me immediately. I have left him before at another place at 9 am and had to wait until 6 pm. I hated that. Thank you for doing such a great job with my little Romeo!

I wish I had heeded other warn...

I wish I had heeded other warnings I had read about boarding my dog here. The first time we had her boarded 2 nights here, I picked her up and she was not quite herself… cowering around and not much energy. It took her a few days to get back to “normal.” They also could not find her leash, and didn’t have any of her treats left over (we had given them a full brand new bag). When I went the next day to pick up her leash, I voiced my concerns to the owner, who stated that maybe she (our dog) missed being around all of the other dogs – that perhaps that would explain her appearing a little “depressed.” I took her word for it, and we decided to try the boarding again. Big mistake.

We left our little girl there 2 nights again; except this time when I picked her up, she had hardly any energy, no tail wagging, no interest in anything except lying down. Through the course of that evening, she got more and more lethargic, and was vomiting a dark substance. She couldn’t even keep water down. We took her to animal emergency (at midnight), where she was found to be extremely dehydrated and in DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) & a blood sugar of almost 600. As a side note, she had been diagnosed with diabetes about 4 months prior, but had been doing well on her special diet and insulin shots at home. We had to keep her there overnight – go pick her up the next morning, and take her to our vet to be monitored further. She had to be on an insulin drip. She got slightly better the next day; however then started deteriorating. We got a call from the vet the following morning stating her body was shutting down (kidneys failing and congested lungs) and there was nothing further they could do for her. We went to see her, and after seeing how hard it was for her to breathe, had to make the difficult decision to have her put down. It was traumatic to say the least. I had contacted the owner of Hotel Fur the night of the vomiting, and was told that “nothing unusual happened” and that our dog seemed to be “fine”. I was further told that she was certain that our dog got all of her shots and was given the “usual” amount of treats. (Again did not get any leftover treats back). THEN I get a text message on my phone from the owner stating a bunch of garbage about how stress or a different environment can trigger a dog with diabetes into being sick. I replied with “whether coincidence or not, it has cost us over $1500 to have her treated” after picking her up from being in the “care” of Hotel Fur. I then texted the next day that we were having to consider putting our dog down, to which she replied “I’m sorry to hear that.” That’s it.

I debated writing this review; however, I strongly feel that anyone who cares for their pet, and who is a part of their family, like our little girl was, should be at least warned of other experiences there. True, I admit it could be coincidence, BUT am convinced otherwise – that something unusual DID happen there that led up to these events. That is all.

My wife and I have been taking...

My wife and I have been taking our 3 dogs to Holly Woof Woof in Yucaipa for grooming for over 3 years and we've always had a great experience.Tammy and her staff are very patient with our high energy pups and they always come back looking and smelling great. Her prices are very reasonable, especially considering their high level of service.

Recently we've also started boarding our dogs at the Hotel Fur instead of a well known kennel in Redlands. The difference is like night and day: our dogs return to us calm and happy instead tired and stressed out from the noise of the other facility. They really like the suite, we like the fact that they can all be together in a quiet environment with daily attention. Keep up the good work Tammy - Heina, Bandit and Lucky look forward to their next visit !

This client came to my hotel, ...

This client came to my hotel, claiming they had been home bound for years because of their dogs dysfunction. I offered my boarding services and told them that I would try to accommodate their dogs special needs. There mastiff is a hundred plus dog that is lacking socialization and simple obedience skills. The owner had very little control over his animal, having to continuously pull on j

his leash to move him. The owner also warned me of the dogs somewhat aggressive behavior towards people, taking all of this into consideration, I agreed to board the dogs, the pom mix also displaying neurotic behavior, the dogs settled in quite well, by the end of their boarding session we worked through many issues. The mastiff was quite stubborn initially about his potty breaks, urinated in his room on one occasion, urine possibly getting on his fur, in most cases if that happens the dog is washed, but with this dogs many issues a bath was out of the question, the dog had never been groomed, which the process could have added to his issues. The dogs always have an endless supply of water in their rooms, whether or not the dogs choose to drink is their choice. Sometimes a dog who is a bit nervous in a boarding settings fails to drink or sometimes even eat. I personally saw both of the dogs drink adequate amounts of water while in our care. Overall, the dogs did quite well, neither showed signs of distress, both ate and drank well. Thank you for expressing your concerns.

We had never used dog boarding...

We had never used dog boarding and didn't know what to expect. We left our two dogs (English Mastiff and Pom mix) for a trial night to see how they would do. They came home and drank so much water, we were a bit concerned. Giving Holly-Woof the benefit of the doubt, we told them that since the Pom mix is diabetic, she drinks a lot and the Mastiff - well he just drinks and drools a copious amount of water! They assured us that they would put two large bowls of water next time. We left the dogs for two nights and they came back dirty and smelling of urine. The Holly-woof staff appears to be a couple of young people who do not seem to understand what to do. We had to go back to get the rest of the items we left for the dogs; and they were really disorganized. It also appeared that they may over-book as there appeared to be dogs locked in the salon area over night. I would NEVER bring any animal back to this business!
