Terrible customer service! Not worth the trip! Seems to be a real issue after reading the reviews.

This business no longer cares about their customers. I have been buying from them for 5 years. Last year they did my wedding cake was told with my order I would get an anniversary cake since you can't freeze their cake. Two people the day of the order told me, my mom and my fiance we would get a small version of our wedding cake. Called after the wedding asking if we were suppose to get something for the anniversary cake. Nope we keep records don't worry. Called to put the order in and they said no you should have gotten a certificate. The manager was rude and unprofessional. I have seen this once great place getting worse every year. It really is a shame. And I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Very disappointed in their customer service. I ordered 12 dozen cookies from them over the phone to be divided up into 12 separate boxes to give to 12 different people. The girl who took the order wrote down 11 dozen not 12 and didn't specify that they were to be divided up into separate boxes. Went to pick up the cookies at 5:15pm and all the cookies were in one box and short by 1 dozen. The man we spoke to at the bakery said Morgan, the girl who took the order was an "airhead" and was new. He said we could wait for them to re-box the cookies but due to time we were unable to wait around while he re-boxed them. We were told that we could come by the next morning at 9:00am but would need to bring payment for the extra dozen cookies that we were short due to the employee’s error. Went back today to pick up the cookies and spoke to the same guy again to let him know that we were disappointed in the way the order was handled (not being divided up correctly and short by 1 dozen), he proceeded to say again that the girl who took the order was an "airhead", never once apologized for the error or inconvenience and charged us for the extra dozen cookies. I felt it was very unprofessional how the situation was handled and for the guy at the bakery to insult the employee who took the order by calling her an "airhead".

I recently stopped in for a upcoming event a found a little treasure! They have a cupcake assortment like no other shop I have been too! They all look amazing! And the ones I have tried are even better! Their displays looks beautiful! Love! Love! Love! Will definitely be seeing lots of my family!!!

We ordered a birthday cake that required edible printing in the a shape of a crest. The printing was not cut out, it was still square. Requested piping was not completed. The fondant decoration accessory was not supported properly and broke when installed. Cake was ordered almost 5 weeks ahead and paid a deposit. Final payment was 2 days before pickup. When due time came, the icing was still not completed and was told 15 min was still needed to complete. Then they lost the proof of payment and called us a liar about paying. 30 mins later, the cake was complete, but frosting was still hot and running down sides of petits for. The petits for had thumb prints in them. This business is not very organized, they could not find records of payment. They were not personal people, even during the end of this issue, there was not even and "I'm sorry" or other apologies from them. We purchased to support the local economy but will never to that again.

I chose to use Say it with Sugar for my wedding cake. I was having a small wedding and needed a very small cake



I went into this bakery and met with a young girl who told me her job was to take orders and provide customer service. I almost immediately got the feeling that I was an annoyance. The girl seemed very impatient with my desire for a tiny and inexpensive cake. She kept running back to the owner, Marcia to ask her questions. I felt like I was in an old school car dealership. "Let me ask my manager about that". There were at least 5 employees in the bakery and I could not understand why the woman who owned it would not come out and talk to me herself.



When the details were finally hammered out, I went up to the register to pay. I caught the eye of the owner and smiled and said “Thank you” to her. She did not smile, she did not say thank you or you’re welcome. I was not thanked for my business. She just turned away and went back to what she was doing It was stunningly rude. After I left, I was so angry I almost went back to cancel, but I did not feel like getting into a confrontation with that woman.



I probably should have known what to expect because I have been in here on three or four other occasions and never once have I had any offer of assistance or been thanked when I left.



I have been a customer service sales trainer in the automobile business for many years. Anyone with any sense knows that small sales can turn into repeat business. A woman I work with is getting married and having 350 guests at the lake this spring. She doesn't know where the cake is coming from, but she knows where it is not. Customers may forget large parts of their experience, but they always remember how they were made to feel. And I felt unimportant and unwelcome.



Overall, the cake was pretty and tasted good, but I will never return to this place again and I would not recommend them to anyone. Better to go to the grocery store bakery for an average cake and a smile with thanks than to have this horrible experience. This situation was the only unpleasant part of my wedding day. What a shame I was considered a waste of time.
