Edgewood Apartments

To no fault of the apartments, the neighborhood is a haven for societal rejects, losers, dysfunctional families, and single parents. Domestic disturbances and the drunken antics of the welfare class make living in this area feel like a daily chore.



As for the apartments themselves, the owners go to great lengths to keep the courtyard in good condition (despite the best efforts of some tenants in the form of egregious littering and irresponsible pet care -- read poop), and the units themselves are clean. Cockroaches were a serious problem, with daily sightings. "Preventative" pest treatments were conducted monthly, but did not solve the problem. However, management was prone to addressing maintenance issues as they came up in a timely fashion.



Post-lease, the management has been tired and laborious to deal with in attempts to regain the security deposit. I can't say that I find them very trustworthy either, but these sorts of things always come down to so-and-so's word against another's. I recognize here that one's personal account can be quite subjective, so I caution the reader to take my word with a grain of salt, if taken at all, and no personal offense to management is intended.



Conclusion: if you can't afford to pass on the value of paying studio apartment rent for a one-bedroom, or any of the competitively priced units, then stop in and take a look. However, if you can afford to be at least a little picky, or if you value your sanity (which you should) then you should probably pass on these.

Has cockroaches Management is not noticeably doing anything about, AC does not work, Laundry Facilities on site, but most of the machines are inadequate. Drug and alcohol usage, Horrible neighborhood.
