Joy Manor

I attended an event here today and the venue is beautiful. Wonderful lighting. The staff were beyond accommodating and very courteous. The food was the best I've ever had at a formal venue. This is coming from someone who has done numerous weddings and events working as a wedding planner. I was highly impressed.

Beware of this place. They promise you something and then don't follow through with it. only thing good about this place is the food. Everyone is so rude. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I will never use this place again. I would use McDonald's over this place and I hate McDonald's.

I had my wedding reception here last weekend, and I just wanted to say you couldn't beat the quality of service or the price. Don't be fooled when you drive by, I know the outside of the hall doesn't do it justice, it's so nice inside! The food was really good and they literally do everything for you, from the chair covers, to centerpieces, to the birdcage card box! Chris, the owner, didn't just treat us like customers but more like we had been friends for years. I recommend this place highly for your party or wedding reception!

Our daughter's wedding was May 2013 at Joy Manor. I was impressed with how thoughtful everyone was in making our experience memorable. Chris, Debbie, Patti and Donna (and many others) were so accommodating. The food was very good (menu options were many), decorations and the atmosphere were great. Many of the guests made several comments about the kind staff, atmosphere and a very positive and enjoyable wedding experience. Thanks to everyone at Joy Manor!!!! for such a positive experience.

We had our wedding shower at this location on April 15, 2012. Chris at the Joy Manor was not only very helpful in helping this unsure Bride how things should go he was so amazing and the shower was beautiful. I received so many compliments on the hall, the food especially was out standing. Look no further for your next party, shower and WEDDING! For what he offers and price is so right.

It was better then I could ever hope. I will recommand this place to all my freinds and family. The place isn't the prettest on the outside but that was the great part bc it gave everyone the WOW factor when they walked in. I got married may 13th 2011 and everyone is still talking about it. The food was amazing and the customer service was like nothing I ever had before. I have never been treated better and with all the halls that I went to these people made me feel the most at ease and they never pressured a sale on me. They are the best price around and decorated the place so good, that I didnt even have to waste my money on flowers or extra decorations for the hall. if your on a budget and want your wedding to look like your not ... this is the place to goto.

I had a horrible experience at the Joy Manor in Westland, Michigan. The employee literally accused our table of stealing their candle holder. What would someone do with something that is basically a vase with an open bottom? Three employees questioned our table, threatened to review cameras, and cleared our table of ALL silverware, napkins, cups, plates, EVERYTHING!!!! They did not do this to the rest of the people in the hall. The people at our table were all middle aged people who all have good jobs, we would have no reason to want to steal a cheap vase. Need I mention that we left our nice suburbs of bloomfield, farmington, waterford, and lake orion just to go to this party.



I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THAT YOU RENT THIS HALL UNLESS YOU WANT TO OFFEND PEOPLE ON YOUR GUEST LIST.
