I was having an extremely difficult time finding a colorist for my blond highlights when I moved to LA. I was so disappointed with the dozens of salons I tried UNTIL I went to see Derek Louden at the Argyle Salon at the Sunset Tower. I brought a bunch of photos, showing the baby blond highlights I liked and Derek listened to me and was so sweet & nice, as opposed to the snooty colorists prior who would not give my photos the time of day, claiming they were experts.

I was so thrilled with Derek's highlighting results!! thrilled to say the least! I have been going back to him ever since. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a colorist, he does the best blond color, just perfect. He is also super cool and nice, fun to chat with and all around a great hair colorist.I am very picky with my color, if it is ashy i hate it, orangy brassy I hate it, etc... but everytime i leave the salon after seeing Derek i am always pleased!! He is the best.
