Picked up the vehicle and noticed a few things were wrong with the job. he fixed two minor issues while I waited and told me not to worry, take it home and put all the trim and bumpers, etc back on and if I had a scratch or saw an issue with he paint work, "not to panic"; bring it back and he could mix paint to match/fix. So, I did.



I found "fish eye" and exposed areas of surface showing primer still where his painter clearly did majorly, shoddy work that left insufficient paint on multiple surfaces. I mean, there were issues ALL over the vehicle, including debris in the paint and debris painted onto surface from a dirty paint sprayer. This says nothing of the minor flaws I did overlook. Owner went ballistic when I returned to discuss those flaws. He said if he fixed them all, he'd lose money. He said it's all about his time and cost and he refused to fix anything. my God, you should see the caulking work that his novice painted over!



I tried to resolve peacefully. Sam (owner) became enraged. He screamed at top of his lungs, cussing and literally threw me off the lot saying he will not fix any of the "F---ing" paint work. Unfortunately, that only leaves the civil court remedy now beyond pursuing pre-court demand(s) and filing of complaints. Other auto paint professionals have seen the work Sam's shop did and told me I got ripped off for the shoddy work done is below industry standards for a new paint job and shoudl have been fixed by owner.
