Dr. was professional and caring. He knew exactly what to do for the ulcers on my diabetic feet. Thanks Doc. Staff was professional and nice. Scheduling was really good. Wait time 5-10 minutes. I often arrive early and am treated and released very quickly. Love this place. You are in good hands here! Also this location on Livernois is conveniently located on the city bus line.

A neuroma is a growth of nerve tissue in the foot, usually caused by repeated stress on the foot, wearing tight or poorly fitting shoes, a foot deformity, or injury. The symptoms of a neuroma often start slowly, but as the nerve irritation gets worse it can become very painful. Possible treatments include shoe changes and orthotics, padding and taping, medication, physical therapy, injections and surgery. Dr. Gross and Dr. Foreman are among the few surgeons who perform mini-incision surgery for this condition.

There are three bones and two joints in each ankle. Breaking an ankle can mean breaking any or multiple of the bones, as well as the tearing and stretching of ligaments and tissues that surround them.
Bunions Problems
Bunions usually form when the big toe pushes toward the second toe because of prolonged pressure on the feet, forcing the big toe joint in the opposite direction. Extra bone grows where the base of the big toe meets the foot, crowding your other toes and causing pain. The tendency to develop bunions is usually hereditary. Dr. Gross and Dr. Foreman specialize in the treatment of bunion deformities, both surgically and non-surgically.

He was the first physician in Michigan to use laser for the treatment of fungal toenails.

I have been going to a foot doctors most of my adult life and that is about 50 years give or take. I have had some good doctors and some not so good but Dr. Arnold Gross is the best I have every had. He is very patient, has great treatment skills, and doctor patient manners. Very honest and dedicated to his profession. He also treated me for toenail fungus which has drastically improved the look of my feet.

Plantar Fasciitis
The plantar fascia is a ligament-like connective tissue that runs from your heel to the ball of your foot. If your foot moves incorrectly the plantar fascia may become strained and swell, causing plantar fasciitis. Possible treatments include medication, taping or splints, orthotics, and surgery. Dr. Gross and Dr. Foreman are among the few surgeons who perform mini-incision surgery for this condition.
