Nail Creations

We absolutely love this place. We vacation in Wells at least 4 times a year and visit Nail Creations each time. My husband and I have never had a bad experience.

My friend was getting married in Maine, about an hour from where we live. She made an appointment for 3 PM (for the day before the wedding) for 3 of us to get manicures and one mani/pedi. We arrived promptly at 3 and they were definitely busy, but we assumed that because we had an appointment - and because they knew this was for the bridal party - they would take care of us. We sat within three feet of the owner and watched as they took walk-ins and other parties of 2,3, 4 people - but not us. He kept saying he wanted us all to get manicures at the same time, but seeing as the shop was full and there were only three people working at the time, that was impossible.



Long (and incredibly frustrating!!) story short - we finally left, at 5 PM, with the brides mani/pedi done and some polish thrown onto a junior bridesmaids hands. I never even got my nails done because there wasn't time!!! The owner couldn't have cared less and was incredibly rude - he had the balls to try to charge $17 for putting polish onto the 9 year old junior bridesmaid (I was sitting right next to her and saw that he soaked her hands, pushed her cuticles back and took 30 seconds to put polish on!).



And, after all that? The bride's nails turned out HORRIBLY. The polish rubbed off, the pedicure looked sloppy...Nail Creations was the worst experience I have ever had with a nail salon. My mother happens to be a realtor who is local to the town and she is spreading the word about how awful this place was, too!! Do NOT go in there if you value your money, time or sanity!
