Stripes

I stopped at the 4402 Navarro location today to get gas before heading back home. I ran my card through the reader and started to try to get gas. Nothing happened, after playing with it a few minutes i decided to go in to pay first. When I went in the girl at the counter told me that the pumps have not been working and that they had been trying all day to get someone to fix them. I noticed that there were several other people out there struggling with the pumps and said that they should put a sign up to let people know. The girl (probably 18) smirked and said with an attitude that they didn't have signs. I walked back out to my truck when I got a text message from my bank saying that $55.00 was removed from my account. I don't make much money and every penny counts. $55.00 is alot of money to me. It pretty much drained all that was left in my account. I went in and told the girl who told me to come back the next day with my bank statement and they'd see what they could do. I don't live near by and I told her I don't have a regular bank account, it's a prepaid card and she said she didn't need my attitude and that if I was going to talk to her in that tone of voice I could leave. Anytime i tried to say something she'd say something like "I don't need your back and forth if all you're going to do is get upset then leave!" Although I was starting to get really upset I didn't swear at her or insult her yet (later I said that this was BS). I told her to try to put herself in my shoes. She called her manager who according to the girl said that she was busy with her own "personal life" and couldn't help. The girl had a huge attitude with me and wouldn't listen to me at all. I called the police to see if they would help but when he said there was nothing he could do because it was a "civil matter". While he was there she had her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. I told her I really didn't need her attitude and her response was "I don't care what you need!" she just kept smirking and laughing. I didn't think it was funny at all. She told the cop that they stopped working the minute I started trying to pump and that she hadn't had a chance to go out there yet, far from what she told me. She also told him that it would be credited back first thing in the morning which isn't great news for me but it's better than "bring in your bank statement and we'll see what we can do". She acted more like a 13 year old brat with an attitude than a professional and apparently the manager could care less either since she was busy with her "personal life". It's great to see customer service is alive and well...I asked the girl fro her and her bosses information and she laughed and got it and spelled her name out sarcastically. I was wronged by them but all I got was attitude, not an ounce of understanding. In my opinion neither her or her manager should be in customer service. Because of this rude little girl I will never go to that store again and will avoid the others when possible.
